Looks like Toy Anxiety is parting out the latest Indy as we speak...

Toy Anxiety KOTCS Indy

...I picked up the new head and the skull, and ultimately passed on the jacket, mask, dagger and web belt. Unless I break and jump back on the Exclusive Wait List, that should do it for me; Money is tight these days.

I'm insanely jealous of those of you who kept the fridge (had to cancel mine last week), but I'm glad to have these two pieces. If nothing else, they'll make for a nice display option for my one and only Indy.

I picked mine up today from my friend's store and I was VERY tempted to take the Exclusive he had for sale but...as you say...money is pretty tight.

Ah, gotcha. It is more pronounced from the front.
Funny, looking at him next to my ROTLA Indy it looks like old Indy's hat is narrower. I'd have thought they would use the same sculpt.

I thought the same thing when I took it out. I really wish SS would have gone with plastic. I'm afraid of breaking it. I'm not sure how I feel about the purchase. I'm glad I got it, but I'm also eh about it.

Well...home and right out of the box...

He's going to require some major futzing, just as he is...I'm not talking new body and all, just the clothes and such...

...but my initial impression holds. I like him...excellent sculpt from Trevor, okay paint apps. Expression has some good attitude (and the added bonus of really working with this cold weather ) Clothes are a little wonky (especially the jacket...wish they hadn't tacked the collar down)and they're ill-fitting...but I'll futz and re-fit later and see how that goes...

I am a little sad that this could be "it" with this line...but I'll just continue to enjoy what we got.

Ill get some more shots up later...share 'em if you got 'em, folks!

Yeah, I am in Afghanistan for the next six months. Not only do I have to wait to see my Indy in person, but 99% of the pics people have posted are blocked by my network (flickr, photobucket, image shack, etc).

Also for some reason the Pro body on this looks yellowy. The neck looks awful in comparison to the face.
I know I'm bashing it a little, but apart from the body it really does not need modding.
At the end of the day, even if you include the price of True Type, it's still cheaper than a hot toys figure.

hahahaha that looks awesome! As much as the gofers gave me a moment, they are a nice addition to the dio! I regret not getting the fridge... but I really have no room for a massive polystone 50's era fridge, despite the obvious benefits you've shown!

Funny.. I bought that same Schleich brand animal at Target for the same purpose... just need to take off his belt and holster to make him accurate.. ( he didn't have it until they went to Peru)...
