Yeah it looks quite good in those pics. That's how the tuxedo should look. A bit of futzing goes a long way before breaking out the camera.
The pejorative hyperbole being shot around here sucks though.

Man cant believe people are jumping in on bad pics due to poor lighting. Even Enterbay Jack Bauer can look like crap with poor photography(the first Jack pics were crap). Same can happen HT Godfather.
The problem with the poor EB Vito pics is that the photographer set it up in a poorly lit place while using another source of lighting to shine on the profile to create the "dark" Vito scene in the movie.So basically it flushed most of the detail of the face. A poor attempt to create the scene and a fail in showing the strength of the paintjob and sculpt. Plus, he didnt take the time to futz with the clothes to let it sit in properly.
Also love the reaction by certain people. Just like the Medicom TDK Batman and Enterbay Jack BAuer threads. People are anticipating for poor pics and call it final.

Then you should look at the EB Jack thread again. The first pics surfaced with poor lighting and you got a few fan boys brushing it off as "As expected from Enterbay, not even close to prototype" with the assumption that it looks like crap. Of course it will be hard to find it now buried in between the thread somewhere.

Those pics look a lot better, but I still think the head-sculpt looks somewhat off. I've no problem with the paint apps or the futzing of the clothes.
I was holding out for the Enterbay one. I thought it was the clear winner and the likeness spot on, then something happened I looked at them both again with fresh eyes and decided the HT likeness was much better and despite the crappy paint job and washed out soft looking too small head, I knew it was the one I needed over the other. Too bad there could not be the best of both worlds. I went and bought the figure after seeing it sit at my comic shop for over a month. HT it is...

What figures are you buying that would equate the HT Godfather with crappy washed out paint and a small head?
aaaand. I opened it and now can honestly say without being accused of stirring up crap because i bought and am looking the darn thing that I don't like it at all...
The head looks weird, the wrinkles not lifelike and the whole thing looks almost half painted. I hate this soft washed out look for heads they've been doing since Harvey Dent. It looks just horrible. The head is too small too.
The suit folds weird, the shirt underneath is very thin and plasticy and holds wrinkles way too well so it looks horrible without the jacket.
The damn KNEES AND ANKLES ARE SOOOO LOOSE. He can't even stand up.
The cat will not stay on his lap to save my life i can't get it to stay...

It's unfortunate that you dislike the HT Don, but how are you sure that the Enterbay is any better? Will you be getting both?
Plasmid Im not sure that the Enterbay would be better per se but it looks as if the issues that bother me most are non issues for that one. Wish i could get both but might not be able to afford it.

That pic is from an ebay listing that's been around a while. Looks quite nice. The FS200 display stand is also quite nice. Much better than their previous stands.
