I wanted to like that figure from the start, but it falls a little short in the sculpt department. Now, if they do a Thriller version I'm there.

I don't think we'll be getting any zombie Thriller versions now though. "normal" and werewolf are still quite likely, but I think many sensitive people would be offended by a zombie version. Which is too bad since he would have gone great with the Dead for a huge dance display.

He passed away 5 hrs ago... it's still today in L.A.

Totally disagree. Part of his Legacy. Local News here in L.A. are showing non stop Thriller clips with him in Ghoul face and no-one is complaining. Why? Because it's part of his Legacy. I don't think we would see a HT Thriller MJ for at least 6 months anyway and no-one will complain then either. IMO the Wolf Head would be cooler anyway.

Im hapy I got one from Bigbadtystore. Not because I think I'll make money off it but because I had planed to eventually get one and now that he is gone I know the prices will go up.

I feel a little guilty that it was under these circumstances that pushed me to buy it but I can say I really loved Michael Jackson as a part of my childhood he was to me what Elvis was to many as a part of their childhood and this is a great figure, too good not to own. Just wish it was not bittersweet because of his passing.

I have just heard from a most reliable source there will be a new MJ figure announced soon.
It was due next month anyway, but I think due to recent events things are in a state of flux. Expect some announcement soon though.

I have no details on what version it will be.
