Great, we doing pages on his groin area now?
The Office Yes GIF

I'd be really tempted to get a second one to repaint as a black suit version, as I think the angry head would work a lot better on that. And plus it would be awesome to have the two looks side by side.
What will happen is the second you paint the 2nd black, a black one will be announced with the hair parting on the correct side for ZSJL Superman.

So we're actually supposed to believe Justin is the one that suggested the rooted hair curl to Inart and that he's the sole reason why they decided to do that?

Forgive me if I fail to suspend my disbelief...
The same way we should believe Danoby that INART is using Hot Toys Superman body and suit because they can't afford to do it themselves.

That’s simply insane. But also interesting since I thought BBTS only sold products with licenses to operate within the US. Wonder if importing directly from Australia somehow circumvents that, which might explain the inflated price even beyond their usual gouging M.O.

Yea I guess they bought the stock somewhere else, usually they sell licensed stuff for retail.

Man I feel like I overpaid on OSK now that the Australian retailers like Sugo and Popcultcha are selling it for around $320 shipped.
I can't work out that price no matter how many times I do the calcuation

InArt's set price is 2280 RMB, they do $310 on their site exclude shipping by today's USD/RMB rate 2280/7.3 = $312

Take into consideration that both RMB and AUD at historical low rate today, I have to add a few % to cover currency risk. Who knows what happen a year later, if RMB bounce back, it could raise 10% in just 2-3 months. Don't forget RMB isn't freely convertible currency, it folds within range because the government controlling it

Top up with paypal charges and shipping costs.. I can't work out the math really

It's for those that don't know better. And there are a lot unfortunately.
100% true. When I first started collecting I didn't intend to have a large collection and I was so enamored with the chance to get 1/6 scale versions of my favorite heroes by Hot Toys I just bought from BBTS and others without thinking of costs or bothering to check if some place had pricing that was way out of line with others.

That's insane. InArt did mention they have been in talks with a few distributors in the US and BBTS was one of them mentioned. They said it wouldn't be SSC because of a competing company wouldn't allow it. At these prices it would be a no brainier to stick with Kit.

Specfiction also US based have it for 399$ . Not sure what markup BBTS have but that's crazy.

While I use BBTS regularly with various stuff and their service and packaging is great,I'm truly surprised about that price as well. Usually they sell Hot Toys and other officially distributed merch for retail. Just ordered Alucard Nendoroid from them (Castlevania 1/6 when?)
