That real hair is simply perfection. The color is DEAD ON. Wow!!!!

Thanks. It's not that much actually there. But does it take forever to make it work!

Anyway, JUST GOT IN MY HOT TOYS JOKER...
So...
My turn to compare it with mine for your info.

One of my unpainted heads with the HT one down flat, with the HT adaptor between them (that came with the HT Joker) that does indeed work for both. Either head works on a HT figure, or on Dragon or other bodies with the right kind of neck posts.

Note that my head has a neck angle that is angled back more...this is to accomodate what I call the Joker Slouch. It allows his head to set more forward in poses, leaning his head more forward, like Ledger always seemed to do, and less straight up like most headsculpts allow for, including the HT one.

Here is my head on a HT body, loosely placed, but you can see the slight slouch in it more now...

And more straight on...

Cool figure, the HT, but I will add my comments on it in the HT Joker thread.
Just wanted to show you guys that my head does indeed fit the HT body.
I will probably make one in future for my HT figure, an interrogation version most likely.

Not sure what version I will use the HT head for yet....will repaint it when time allows.

Awesome Les,

So glad to see that your custom head fits the HT body!

Man, the HT Joker already looks better just having the unpainted head on him. You are spot-on about the neck needing that tilt, I don't think he stood completely straight very much in the movie.

Yep, Much better! :clap

Can we assume you will have the necks dremeled to fit the short Hot Toys neck like in those pics? Thats what I plan on doing with mine - Hot Toys head replacement! :rock

WOW...Just wow. I am so glad I got one of the heads in 2nd run (without the doll hair of course). Hey Les, I know we had 3 paint aps to choose from, which one is this? I am guessing it is option B, the street scene. Am I right?

It looks phenomenal!:rock

Love the last profile comp shot Sean, really shows the amazing work put into this.

Congrats Les!!! Can't wait for the full length picture show!!

There is no comparison, hands down Les has the best headsculpt out there ! With his modifications ( love the hair - inspired ! ) and an out of this world paint job, this one screams Ledger and I forsee a very busy time ahead ( sorry - no pun intended ) with paintups on this guy.

Well done Les ! :)

Are these for sale?

Great work Les Walker...

Anyhow, congrats in your custom Joker. Pure genious

WOW!!!! :google :google:google

Those comparison pics are outstanding.

I used to think that the Hot Toys Joker was really good but after seeing it compared to Les' it looks almost cheap.

Man I can't wait to get my custom head. :drool

Obviously the head is incredible, (cannot wait for mine!), but its the coat that is blowing me away at the moment.

When I thought about how amazing a HT Joker would be, back in the day when wishing they would make one, Les' one is how I imagined the coat. It looks just like a miniature wool coat, thick but not too thick. The HT one looks more like mac material. Still rocks though.

Alright, one last tease of what's to come of my work with Les' Joker, I promise the fruits will be unveiled by the end of the week. Had my brother's wedding over this past weekend and I shot the figure right up until I left so Les and I are wrapping up our selections for photos before we post, but they are coming very soon.
