Thankfully, an easy fix with white paint.
Idk what if the white is a different lightness or comes out too glossy. For somebody who has no experience to paint it is still very very stressful to do something like this on your $1000 doll

But I think if its sorted from Inart then it is worth a shot for sure and maybe it can turn into a win to have an extra

Definitely should not have to "fix" your $1000 figure -- but if you do, at least the white face is easier to fix than flesh colored skin.

I do wonder how many "extra heads" InArt prepared for this type of issue? And if they will provide a "mail back" box to retrieve their damaged head?

Call me crazy but I don’t think you should have to touch up the paint damage on your $1000 figure 🤷🏻‍♂️

Obviously. You should not have to on a $100 figure either.

The problem I see now is greedy collectors claiming 'damage' to get that 3rd head. InArt better have a way to retrieve those heads.

Are those actually yours?

Yep. The first two items I took out of the box. This package actually came a day early and I was psyched because its still the weekend and I have time to unbox and enjoy. Sure, I hear you about the white paint touch up, but this dampens my experience. I've modified plenty of figures, a lot of them with paint, but this is the most money I've ever dropped on a single release. Ya know? I'm not jumping off the handle or anything. I know mistakes are bound to happen with every release, but man.....

Agreed. It's got to be disheartening to say the least. I can't imagine my own disappointment if that happens with mine.

InArt has a lot to learn from this first figure. Too bad the experiments had to be on such a highly sought after, iconic character.

Ironically, you have people here already buying new clothes and hunting for new sculpts... for their $1,000 figure.

Long term support options are really what’s missing from this hobby and what keeps me from calling figures luxury items.

If you damage a fine watch, luxury car, or even luxury shoes the brand usually has paid repair/replacement/resole options.

With Hot Toys, and I worry with InArt too, you basically have a return window and that’s it. And that’s only if you buy through Sideshow or some authorized retailer. With InArt legally only being for Asian markets, it puts us in the US in murky territory for support.

Yikes. That's a really good point.

Hopefully, InArt's desire to expand will outweigh those technicalities, and give them reason to solve some issues like parts returns/exchanges.

I won't say your completely right but your not wrong. Although Kit is the best you got for helping with any issues it's only what he is able to help with. If Inart doesn't want to help then the retailer you bought from can't do much in the end. And that sucks for us living in the states as it will be harder to fix any future issues with their figures going forward. Just imagine the QC issues these will have if not checked properly before release.

What? :lol Nah, dude. This needs to be the end of the line for Ledgers Joker for me. The clothes are great. I'm not replacing. Now, if by some miracle I come across a great custom head that I find affordable then maybe I'd consider buying. That's it. I'm still unboxing. I'll post my thoughts later this afternoon.

I'll start with the Cons. Some of these are just a preference, others I think InArt might be able to build upon.

Magnets. I DO like them. They were a selling point for me and I hope to see more of them. However, they give me a feeling of merely being sufficient to good. I was hoping for more of a healthy *snap!* when connected. Again, they do work, but I'm worried about the base considering some of the things I've seen online - and holding the metal accessories. So far so good on my end though. We'll see how they hold up.

The ties. This is a personal preference but I prefer a workable tie like in our everyday life. This one has a buckle at the back that adjusts, and as far as I can tell the knot is glued together. I just prefer a wider knot that is also adjustable.

The movable eyes. I know I might in the minority, and I do like PERS when it's good, I just feel like this likeness would have been stronger had they went with sculpted eyes. It doesn't ruin these sculpts though. More on that later.

The shoes. Again, more of a preference, but I kinda like real shoes. These DO look great, but DID has been killing it for over a decade with real workable foot wear.

The Pros.

The outfit. Its great. It lays the way I like it to and the material is the best we've gotten with these licensed releases. Particularly the coat.

The headsculpt. While I have my opinion in the moving eye, these are still killer heads. They did put a lot of product in the hair to keep it in place for the shipping and aesthetic, but that's not a con for me. Good job.

The dio. Not much to say here other than it's looks great with appropriate weathering - and it's heavy.

The magnetic forearms. I love these. They bring an extra layer of realism, and the detail on these nasty grungy a** hands is awesome.

The accessories. Again not a ton to say, other than again, they're are heavy and feel cool to handle. It's like you're holding a real tiny firearm in your hands. I just hope the magnets hold up for them.

The gloved hands. Funny enough, this was another thing I was most looking forward to. HT has been re-releasing the same old hands since their first release. These are all new sculpts that are more accurate to specific scenes and I love them.

I think I got everything. Other than the disappointment of its presentation when I first opened this package, I'd say this is a home run. It's a killer figure with some issues but overall it delivered on its promise, I think. I'm looking forward to Aragorn and whatever else InArt has in store for us.

I'm sure other things will come to mind the longer I spend with this figure but for now those are the highlights that popped out.

Yahoo!!! I feel better, and more anxious, then ever now.

I think you'll be happy. I had a rough start, but there's more to like than to dislike. I did have to do some futzing & adjustment to the outfit as expected, but it was less than previous Jokers from HT. This set is better tailored. You'll immediately notice once you take the coat off. You'll feel a sort of rigid/firmness around the shoulders that wasn't in previous releases. It's made to streamline the shoulders and give him that iconic silhouette. That's my feeling at least. The DX11 didn't have that.

Oh! And I love that you don't see the snaps of the vest at all. That used to really get on my nerves with the HT releases. Yeah. I'm coming up with more thing to say about this release. 😆

Considering they are shipping in batches I imagine they do not have extras ready to go. I think they are still catching up to orders

I'm guessing they look great in hand. Which is all that matters... except for those who like taking macro pictures of their dolls.
Please don't refer to our collectible figures as dolls. Every time I see/hear them called dolls I feel like my genitalia shrinks 1/16th of an inch. I don't have much length to spare.
