Pimping it with Boba...

I'm gonna start displaying my figs in my kitchen :wink1:

I assumed you did that already, with at least one Captain Marvel per room.

I wish the regular version also included the un-helmeted head sculpt. 😐 (But yeah it would probably bump the price up.)

Further incentive to buy the throne version. They know what they're doing. Not that anyone should need further incentive because the throne is amazing.

I honestly was going to pass on both Bobas from mando because I didn’t like the textured paint but I thought the throne would add a nice change up of standing figures. This figure is amazing and I love it. The texture isn’t as pronounced in person. The throne is an amazing piece. I would recommend getting this. I got this from Maccari from a shop that sells Hot Toys well below retail too.

The single without the hologram was on pre-order at toys wonderland for $115 this morning HK time. I blinked and they were back to $142 in the afternoon.

Still my favorite post-ROTJ take for Fett. Much cooler than the tights he worse in BOBF.

I can't afford Hot Toys, so I made due with the SHF figure of this outfit. I'm pretty happy with it.

I still think it's a shame HT didn't smooth out that chest armor though. Your photo really shows off the rust/wear that's sculpted in from other version. I've watched and re-watched all of his scenes in "Mandalorian" in high def and it should have been clean and smooth.

I see your point about the chest armor and while it's not as "screen accurate" as it could be, I still like the look of it on the figure. It shows an evolution. A hurried cover-up of the sarlacc acid-eaten damage Fett want to move past and the "repaint" may be rushed, but it projects a more "complete" look so he may present that visual profile that is known throughout the galaxy to strike terror in potential prey and strength to his "customers".

Fett as presented in "The Mandalorian" was fantastic. I look at these figures as almost "mythos"-type presentations and try to ignore the disassembled and broken characterization that ended up being shown in BOBF. The armor and gear designs are so striking that I project my own stories onto the figures when I'm taking shots and posing them. BOBF doesn't stop me from fully appreciating the figures that have been produced from it.

Just my take anyway. It's Saturday night and I'm just snapping shots and rambling.... :)
