I came along with my friend who provides private security for her when she attends Chiller con in NJ and I got to hang out with her in her hotel room while she prepared for the con then she introduced me to Sean freaking Cunningham hours before the con opened and he and I hung up a giant GIANT F13th banner lol

I hung up a banner with the director of F13th part 1, and rights holder, then she took us to dinner that night and proceeded to show me a photo album of never before seen photos from the making of that damn movie.

It was a fun day I love that movie and it has nothing to do with Joker lol

Are you serious? If so, that's amazing! Personally, I'd love to meet Amy Steel. My favorite final girl of the series.

I got a 1/4 sculpt from Jaxon painted & rooted by Sinag. It was definitely an upgrade to the crap stock HT one (obviously). It's decent but nowhere near the best compared to other customs, kinda regret getting it and paying for a big price too. The pic you posted look great though, the root job is def better

Yeah they’re hit and miss. I’m happy with mine for the price. I know some of the other painters Jaxxxon uses cost almost twice as much as Sinag did.

Hey mate. I like the sculpt a lot, it is like to see in hand photos of the actual releases figure. I ordered the sculpted, but now I’m wishing I ordered the rooted version. I really like that interrogation room head/root job.

Yeah mine arrived painted by Sinag, who Jaxxon had painting them at the time. He changes up painters regularly though. I think now he’s using a painter named Niunai, who gets a much different result out of the sculpt as you can see in the pic by Jaxxon below…

Mine, painted by Sinag, was much less expensive, but not as impressive either. But it was as much as I wanted to put into this figure.

how much would something like this cost? to pay for the custom head and rooted hair

I heard Viper made a decently high volume unlicensed Gandalf the White that Asmus sued him over. All I know is Asmus said as much here on these forums, never heard a follow up. Idk anything about China’s laws but in the US that would be more of civil issue than a criminal one AFAIK.

I highly doubt there's any truth to that, since the source of it seems to be from our good ole friend Jon Deak. Wouldn't be too surprised too if that "Alex Kendell" account from Youtube is one of his burners.

But yes, would love to hear if Kit has heard anything of it...if at all

Just my thoughts, the production figure really exceeded my expectations, and I'm not worried about the head size because it looked fine in InArt's new promo video, and to me anything is better than a HT tiny head lol. Very happy I got the rooted set, the hair looks great.
