I really dig this look. I totally get why ppl love the OT version, but Boba was never a character I gravitated towards (guess you had to be there?), but I’ve been eyeballing this figure just for how badass he looks. So many ppl do the standard Boba poses with the OT offerings, but this one feels like you can have a bit more liberty since you’re not necessarily trying to recreate a scene
Never gravitated toward the character either, like this look (desert vibe) and talked myself out of it, trying to be financially responsible. Then I caved with the HT Boba Mando set (desert vibe). So by the end will pay twice as much (ok, yeah u do get 2 figs but u pay for those too).

Back in the day when ESB was in the theaters and I was going for those multiple viewings, that bounty hunting briefing Vader gave was always one of the coolest scenes. Funny thing was for me, it was Bossk who caught my attention early on. yes, Boba was cool too, but that old lizard has had me chasing figures more in the early days than Fett.

Now Fett has his own forthcoming show, a big "legends" backstory that the current LFL/Diz regime can pick and choose from and more figures over the years than many others have had.

I'm in for the Mando-verse takes on Fett, but I still dig this "Mythos" version a lot. Always been drawn to figures that tell their own story outside the "source" as I pose and snap shots. This one really fit into that rocky, desert environment. I just wish I could have gone with a bit more variety with the poses, but considering how loose-limbed it is, finding a pose that stood upright and unassisted was a challenge.

Even so, it does look good...almost a "spaghetti western" vibe,

Okay, that's enough from this shoot.

Maybe next trip, I'll have the "mando-verse" version to take out to the rocks...

More beautiful shots! I dunno, I didn't get drawn to the original Fett...didn't get blown away by him being mouthy to Vader or anything, since I figured to any hardened bounty hunter life was cheap. E.g. he wouldn't have cared if Vader blasted him, or who he had to take out to get the bounty. To me, his behavior was expected. Plus, he wasn't in the films that long.

Anyway at this point I try not to think about Mandalorian or Boba shows, 'coz then I get impatient, waiting is too much. :taz :D

Pretty much luv this "Mythos" idea tho. Like I always wondered about the years Obi-Wan was in exile (another great fig, or at least the original is). If funds were no object I'd pick up this fig. Wonder if ramming silicon/museum putty in the joints would help? Or coating with crazy glue or nail polish?

These last three are the best of a great set! The combination of the light and the clarity of detail in the middle one especially.

I just got mine and I am super disappointed.
The body is sad and flimsy Magnets are not there, grey joints in the hands, it just feels cheap compared to what others got originally. I am actually sad I got it now.

I was wondering if the reissue was any better than original. Guess I will skip.

It's been pretty well established that you should be leary of anything Sideshow reissues, even if the original product was good.

Return it. Don’t settle for something that’s not as good on something that costs as much as it does.

Sorry to hear that you are disappointed. I got the first issued version. Yes, flimsy body but there were no magnets for anything with it, nor were there any listed.
Did the second version indicate that there were magnets?

MyenShi is right...if you really don't like it, return it. If you do, some photos of it would be appreciated and helpful to others considering picking up the second version.

I had the 1st Mythos and converted it to a Mando S2 Fett. I ordered this one to get that Mythos look back so once I open it up I'll be able to say if it's the same as the prior version. I am guessing it is. Flimsy body was a challenge but this figure looks dang good on the shelf once you get it posed...

Can someone confirm?
Are there no magnets on the pouch to keep it closed?
Are there no magnets on the holster strap to keep it closed?

SST said to return would be at my expense and I would lose my original shipping charges. Just an FYI

There is a magnet on the waist pouch, nothing on the holster strap (I just tuck it into the hard plastic holster)

How is the body on the one you recieved?

How has Sideshow not fixed the issue with their bodies? It is literally killing their 1/6 lines. It is a simple fix too. If you can't make a decent body, which they can't, contract it out to hot toys or any of the many bootleg body manufacturers. Sideshow is asleep at the wheel, for years.

HT cannot even make bodies for themselves, hence a two year wait as the new normal. They sure wont be making them for a competitor.

SSC needs to check themselves.
