Thanks for shouting me out!

I think it's probably a lock that it will be a banger for sure...all TOTS head's have been superb thus far.

The '78 head from TOTS is the most accurate head in 1/6 scale...Madbug runs it close tho.

I have a '78 TOTS head being haired and repainted as we speak so it gonna go from 100 to 1000 real quick 😎

Finally got me a 2018 myers figure at a really good price on ebay. Went for the body switch. I think I need to take the fat suit from my mando and put it on his upper torso as JJC was not thin at all.

Put on the upper torso of the fat suit. Switched out the body, put some sticky tack in the mask to help with posing and lifting the mask a little to give some space between the shirt and the mask. I’m thinking of adding maybe a cotton ball in the midsection to kinda puff that area out a little.
It’s getting there, overall, happy with it. Might send it in to get it painted.4B1506CC-38DA-4FEB-8FA7-82DA57A0A884.jpeg

Yeah, along with my mask repaint, I need to pad the body on mine more, the jumpsuit was snug on JJC's body and the figure suit is too baggy right now.

I've got the HT Luke Jedi body suit waiting for the TOTS 2018... if CDUK ever send him out.

Last night I was looking at my TOTS 1978, and decided to swap out the ridiculous clown shoes they gave him with a pair I found in a box in the attic. He looks more robust now.

I'll use the clown shoes with the ghost costume, and probably stand the tombstone in front of him to hide them.

Im going to go that same route, I see a few of the jungle boots on ebay I can find. I also thinking I want to pick up another 78 from TOTS themselves. They are on backorder and are scheduled to start shipping in August. My curiosity is hitting and I wonder if they will be improving the body of the figure ( not a drastic change, but along the lines of the stock 2018 body)

I don’t mind the muscles, so far I’ve wanted to pad each Myers so if anything, thicker bodies or more snug jumpsuits.

ToTs needs to make the sleeves of the jumpsuit of the 78 a bit longer and possibly make the fronts of the boots less flat.

I went ahead and stuffy the mid section of 2018. I might switch out the body, it digging the shoulders.

I'll be curious to see if the green suit from the accessory pack is exactly the same as the figure suit or altered pattern. The 2018 sleeves work good, haven't stripped it to see if it's the same base body, I would assume it is.

It is the same base body, but it’s lighter in skin tone and little shorter.

I painted my 78 to first day on set white. My first paint job, criticism and advice is really welcomed as I would like to improve it. I bought me second 78 Myers for cheap just now to keep stock and in box.

Looks good to me. I want to paint my '78, I keep going back and forth on it though. On one hand, I don't like the brown eyebrows and the overall tone is darker than the 2018 which should look older and more worn. On the other hand, I like the coloring on the stock paint, it makes it feel like a mask from the 70s and not some pristine manufactured thing and that's a nice effect.

It’s why I picked up a second one to keep in the box. I also liked the paint job as it reminds me of the final moments in the film when he gets up.

thanks for the comment.

No problem. I'm sure once I start repainting my 2018, I'll dive in on the '78. The trouble I have with the '78 is that there aren't good clear pictures showing the wear on the mask. Because of shadows and things, it's hard to see what is shadow and what it worn paint on the mask, so the only real reference out there for the wear and tear is pictures of paint jobs by companies and custom artists, and there is a lot of variation. ToTS and some others just have some flesh tone showing on the neck, and then some dirt on the mouth and nose, some do flesh tone showing for the mouth and nose too, some have no flesh tone, and for whatever reason, I have a hard time deciding what I want. For whatever strange reason, I feel pressured that whatever scheme I go with, it has to hold up to the opinions of my audience when I take pictures of it, even though my biggest inclination is to just do the whole thing white with no wear at all.
