indeed it's maybe the camera angle and the lightning but if they can have a look at it then it's fine for me. Actually on this pic below it looks pretty good.

This is what I mean, I took a screen cap that almost matches this angle, and it looks fairly close. And yet the comparison from the front doesn't so much. I think it needs a bit more torso adding above his belt. It might be that his body is a little short rather than too wide. I don't know, something is definitely off with the proportions as nice as this is overall.

Yeah - that's what I originally thought.

In your 2nd screenshot, he's VERY slightly hunched-over ("compressed"), the 1st screenshot is more representative.

Don't forget that the CM Predator was $2K when it launched, adjusted to roughly $2.5K today with inflation. With the additional features on this one, I don't see them going under that adjusted rate for this.

In regards to the top pic, the statues arms and shoulders are up and his butt is poking back slightly so he will look fatter than KPH there as he appears to be standing straight.

In the bottom screenshot he looks fatter in the movie to me lol

I agree that as mentioned if it's anything he's too short but that's really being picky for me. I love it.

True, fingers crossed the price isn't too out of reach. CM did charge very high prices for their time. 1/3 endo was $1500 in 2005 yet 1/2 Prime endo $2k in 2018. I'm still optimistic that this one will fall in the range of $2.2 to $2.6 range.

This is a must buy but I have a feeling we?re going to see a bunch of companies coming out of the woodwork with this character in multiple formats.

I think the bones and skulls hanging off his sides are making you think the torso is wider than it really is. Especially in that first pic.

Had the same thought. Maybe this will be the motivator for Hot Toys to finally put out their 1/4 JH. Or at least a 1/6 2.0.

We also have Infinity Studio's version still in the works.

HT definitely needs a legit 2.0 of the OG. And get it right this time. [emoji38]

@DaveJames you have a point there

I tried typing a response to that observation, but everything sounded like I was being disrespectful or taking the piss (which I didn't want to do) - so I'll let Matt (python) handle that :)

Why? You disagree? When i look at the pic from this angle, yeah it can be tricky..with the bone collar.. Don't you think ? Please be disrespectful i like that :D
It's just an observation, nothing concrete

I can assure you it won't be the thickness people are concerned about when this thing releases LOL

Oath man. Im praying him being thick is the worse thing about him (which i really dont mind tbh). The paint is the only thing that concerns me. I know it wont look like the prototype, it'd ve unrealistic to expect that. However Id like to see it atleast 80% of the way there, not like the 50% we got with the 1/4 Big Game hunter... God that was such a let down. The fact that this is a 1/3 peice also means its easier to paint the finer details, which hopefully means we'll reach that 80% margin.

Also I'd love to see a fully closed sculpt instead of the half open one. Such a waste of a sculpt that portrait is when the fully closed look is the favoured look for many Predator collectors

SO not going to be disrespectful - I only do that to trolls and idiots, and although (yes) I disagree that the placement of the bone stuffs is contributing to making the sculpt look fatter, I'm not going to call either of you an idiot (yet :) ).

Agree 100%. I'm fine with the proportions but paint and finer details is what scares me as you mentioned. Also hopefully the head position doesn't change and remains just like it is now. As I said it won't be the thickness but other stuff that will play on our mind haha.

Just canceled the City Hunter for store credit with collectiblesdirect in anticipation of ordering this. Hope they stock it! I'll always find something else in the future if not. I'm buying this either way.

I want my coolprops P2 bust with this on display. I'm normally really patient but this can't come soon enough for me.
