Yep, so these are two separate statues in hand. The first person had a QC paint issue with the dots. The second set of pictures is from another collector. Just to clarify why it looks much better. So yes new pictures did in fact improve the paint app lol

The two heads in that last pic are not the first ones shown. So it’s just a roll of the dice then.

looks better than the city hunter to me.. so i'm good. Need to see more pics, to see if there is some weathering and nuances here and there on the armor or if it's a flat paint without nuances

Looks pretty good. But do agree the Armour looks a tad flat. Hopefully we'll get more photos soon

I think this look fantastic! Thanks for posting the comparison. I'd never expect proto quality paint for any statue, never-mind a Predator, but this looks really good.

Haha I think there are a bunch of people having breathing problems atm.
The first images were from a separate collector. The next batch was from someone else.
In some odd way I think the detail looks more organic on the in hand. However there are other minor issues. I think it looks good, the blood could definitely be better on thr skull

Didnt say anything was illegitimate. And as for judging, this and the City Hunter are thr only two products ive ever had ob P.O. Everything in my current collection is long sold out, hence the quick judgement.

Speaking of quick, is no one else surprised how quick this thing came out? Myself and everyone I've spoken to thought the end of this year would be the likely release date

I noticed that in one of the pics posted, the City Hunter is in the background, so hopefully the collector who posted these pics will do a side by side comparison of the City Hunter and Jungle Hunter, to see the size differences........

Close up images of a 1:4 Predator portrait always look a bit iffy.
Inhand with normal viewing they usually look great.

This looks good to me, much better that the painted brow of the CH which looks awful close up, again probably looks good when on the shelf.

Brown giraffe spots still look a bit like they're consistently overlapping in some areas. They might've been smart to put slightly more space (but not as much as on Fugitive) between them on the decal to avoid the possibility.

Also can anyone spot the water on the base? People on Facebook are having a tough time doing so. There's a spot where the roots become dark, but I'm not seeing a shiny reflection to indicate a water surface. Maybe the finish on the production piece is simply more dull?

It looks like there is water but just not as much as the prototype
