If this offends anyone, let me know I will take it down. But it was the only way for this Pilky guy to see it.

You called me out on DM but figures your DM would be full at this exact moment so, now I have to post this to everyone. Cuz your childish games.

First of all, heres a big **** you! Say this to my face!!! Lets get one thing straight. You came to me bitching. So, whos the real ass here? I have every right to voice my opinion, as many times as I please. I never talked down to anyone. I can however, talk down on a statue as many times as I want.

Second, I spent eight years in the military. Saving peoples lives in search and rescue swimmer in the Coast Guard. Since you think Im full of **** Ill ****ing post all the pics to prove it. I don't say things I don't mean. But your nothing but a computer warrior where as I am a ****ing warrior. I put my life on line for people everyday in the service and then worked for a detox as a Social Worker and now work with Veterans. However, I am not going to say whom I am affiliated with cuz. I can see you have issues. If you need to talk. Well, thats my job LOL!!!

Stop analyzing me. Cuz you stink at it. I find it funny, you have no idea who I am. Or what I am about but yet you continue to assume things. Its fine if you hate your life but I love mine. I don't need to type tough. I know who I am. Maybe look in mirror and see who the troll and bully is. I am not going to sit here and have a **** measuring contest. But again, I didn't read your bull ****. Your the one that came to me bitching and moaning, punk ass. SO, maybe next time stfu and keep your comments to yourself.

For all else who reads this. First, this has gotten off topic because of this guy, so I do apologize. Second, I am not showing pics of me being in the service for any notification or recognition. I did it to show this so called tough guy pilky, that I don't bs and I stand by what I say. But all I do ask is that you just remember, our troops and all those that serve. I mean our country is great because those people sacrificed our lives so this piece of **** Pilky can say what he has to say. He has that right. Maybe he fought for it. But a Veteran never talks down on another veteran. Lastly, I work with homeless veterans getting disability and getting them off the streets. This whole conversation is pathetic. That it got to this point. Its just sad, the way people take a statue personal, then mouth off. Then calls me out. So here you go Pilky. Now stfu. Im done with you. But Im sure your fingers won't stop wanking on the keyboard. Anyways, no matter what country your from. We all are brothers one way or another. Peace. Even me and this pilky guy. If he ever grows up.

Just move on really, you didnt spend money on the statue, NRD is returned to people, theres no money lost, its a win win. Some people will enjoy the statue, some will not, thats life. I was disappointed in the piece, but if people like the statue well thats the way the cookie crumbles. Sideshow have their fair share of hits and misses, even prime 1 studios, thats how its always been in the hobby.

I was pretty harsh in the comment section here at the time, because I was disappointed in the statue at the time, and wanted a 1/4 scale Myers statue. But I got my NRD back, saved some money on a statue that would be close to 1K with the statue costs, shipping and customs fees, and Im happy I didnt spend the money. If people like the statue, all power to them, because times like these ppl got to enjoy the little things in life

Just adding my two cents.

I've been a Halloween and Carpenter fan for many many years and in the 12 or so years I've been in this collecting hobby, this has been my most anticipated peice ever.
When the photos first surfaced of the final product I was left dissapointed, and angry to say the least. These feelings were exacerbated by the constant affirmation by PCS that nothing had changed since the prototype. I am sorry , but it has most definitely changed since the prototype, and they are sheer liars. They were not happy with meto say the least, and I have since been evicted from the PCS Collectors Group for simply voicing the facts that they no longer wanted to hear.

Long story short, I didn't want to lose any money on this so I just gritted my teeth, paid for shipping and customs and welcomed Michael home a couple days ago. Now, he is nowhere near what was advertised, and I am still about 70% happy with what I recieved. He fits well in my Besta, so I am content with my purchase. PCS may think that they have one over me with this 'win' for them, but I stress that they have FOREVER lost me as a customer. I have spent over 10k with them as a company over 10 years or so, and had planned to spend more over many years to come, but no way, not after this , and how they treated me for voicing my opinion on their group.

Horrible Owners. Horrible Business practices. I will avoid them in every way, shape, and form.

I voiced my opinion as well and got booted, LOL. I think most of us that did that are no longer welcome. I don't care. You actually are not blinded by this. As the so called die hard PCS fans are. Then take it personal and start the attack, because we were all duped out of an incredible statue. That looks like a turd with a face on it LOL. If I keep voicing my opinion, the hate will start so. Its best I end this here. Anyways, sorry brotha. I feel you or pain. At least with the 1/3rd we knew what we were getting and they changed that **** to look amazing. The same can not be said about this. Funny in the pics I see people hide it in the darkness, to cover up all the discrepancies of the statue. Anyways, at least give him a good home.

I understand your frustration.

It's not a turd for me, because I still like many aspects of it, and the face is not as bad as I once thought, but the bottom line is , it is nowhere near as adverstised, and as they said it was. Once a liar, always a liar. I have wiped my hands of many collectible companies over the years, and PCS is, unfortunately for them, just another one to add to my list. Literally doesn't bother me in the slightest. It's their loss in the long run. The 'die hard' fans can suck my taint.

when did they change their name? they used to be Pop Culture Shock. I'm thinking there may be a new group of idiots running things there?

this statue is total dog ****. in every way. people complain about the mask but the base looks like it is painted by blindfolded drunks on the jersey shore boardwalk.

also, I've seen masks where its not even painted white. i mean, what the hell are you fools doing?

PCS can drop dead. good riddance to another POS rip off artist company.

Most people who are considering this as a great piece are not even horror fans, they just collect statues of characters that they don't even like or know that much because they can, but for real John Carpenter Halloween fans, we know how Michael Myers really looks and we paid attention to every detail of the looking of The Shape, and yes this is not what The Shape really looks, it was a good try I have to admit that, but not good enough for a real die hard horror fan.

Sorry I didn't mean turd, but a white turd? Maybe? Lol. Im just having some fun. Anyways, it sucks. Time to look at my 1/3rd and be happy and all is right with the world.Peace

I was looking forward to getting this to go with Jason and Freddy but what happened? I understand slight changes from proto to final but this looks way off and not in a good way. Too much tan on the mask(which the mask sculpt looks off from the proto) and that hair...Proto also had the relaxed hand which, although a small detail, looked better IMO. Base painting completely changed and looks cheap. All in all looks like a completely different statue than the proto. Not worth the asking price for me. Doesn't help that PCS is dancing around the issues.

I think I've now seen enough to make a decision...which is to take a pass. There's simply too much that would need to be customized to make it acceptable to me. If the sculpt is the same design as the 1/3 version, then why not get that as it has everything else going for it? If it's not the same sculpt, then shame on PCS for saying it is...either way it just doesn't make any sense to get this in my eyes.

In about 2 minutes of this being available for pre-order on Sideshow I placed my order and was the first to post about it here. In hindsight I should have pulled the trigger on the regular 1/3 version that was still available at that time. Oh well, this was my first and last time pre-ordering anything....I don't know how you veteran collectors go through this roller coaster of a ride.

Thankfully I've wound down my statue collecting to my Sideshow PF 1/4 Universal Monster statues (The Mummy and '31 Franky). The Mummy is actually two statues in my view as the massive sarcophagus is an entity in itself. Talk about presence! Once I track down the 1/3 PCS Myers I'm done. I display only one piece at a time so scale isn't an issue.

Congratulations to all those who purchase this 1/4 Myers piece and hope it brings you much enjoyment.

Excellent photos.

I?m not cancelling this at all.

It?s a shame about the hair colour, but I?m happy with the rest.

I have a few Freddy and Jason 1/4 scale figures from Sideshow and they are far from perfect, but they still represent the character and I love having them in my collection.

This version of Myers will fit in perfectly.

I?m also glad I got the 1/3 scale.

Bring on the final payment.

Great pics and honest youtube review!

I completely agree about the fact that rarely does a production piece match the proto. I think that out of my current collection, the pieces that come the closest to matching the proto are: SSC Thanos On Throne, the most recent Logan PF and the Iron Studios 1/4 Darth Vader. I have many other pieces that I still think are amazing, but still fall short of the prototype. For 20+ years of high end collecting I don't ever expect a piece to 100% match the proto and if it does, that's a bonus. In a perfect world there would be no drop in quality, otherwise it's just not a very realistic expectation to have.

This Myers is definitely not perfect, but it's far from the dumpster fire that it was originally being made out to be. I would say the pics on the base are the weakest part (I do like that the style of the base matches the later SSC horror PF line), but Michael looks pretty damn good overall.

I think the 1/3 is amazing and superior to this 1/4 version, but it just wasn't a consideration for me as I wanted to have it match my SSC Pt 3 Jason PF (Legend Of Crystal Lake). Jason and Michael Myers are by far my favorite horror icons and I want them to at least pair up well in my display.

I should have mine in a couple weeks and can't wait. I have waited so long for a 1/4 scale Myers - I can finally retire my placeholder, 18" Neca Michael Myers (original version - which was great for 2004) to Halloween decoration.

Absolutely spot on.

I have wanted a 1/4 scale Myers since I began collecting over two decades ago.

I?m gonna be over the moon when this shows up.

Gotta say looking better with these last few pics. Still not digging the hair and too much tan on the mask but the mask sculpt does look quite a bit fuller. Looks like good old lens distortion strikes again.

We got our PCS company copy and took some drama lit shots. We are still setting up for some better studio lights to take video and full light snaps. But I wanted to drop these in here. This is the production sample.

All the decent photos are dark. I mean if you have to put this in a dark lighting what's the point? Well, good for all of us who own the 1/3rd. But I think I have talked enough about this. Its not that the statue looks bad, its the fact PCS lied about all this. That's the point. At least make the statue 90 percent like the prototype this looks 20 to 30 percent.

I was going to get this signed by carpenter too. Oh well... their that goes.
