It?s not just sideshow, that pretty much is the state of affairs with all package carriers with this Covid mess right now. Hell, my mailman hid stuff from me last week put it at the a entrance we never use and got no delivery notifications. lol

It?s probably as much a DHL\FedEx\UPS issue not updating their tracking systems for folks as well. I think we are all just really excited to get this dood to our homes and out of the box. Emotions are running high!

LOL...the board in general these days. I think people are getting squirrel-y. As for my shipping experience...DHL has been very reliable and predictable during the pandemic. The incident I'm referring to is from years ago, when Han-in-Stormtrooper-Disguise just materialized even though SSC's website still said 'processing' or 'open order' ... can't remember what but definitely no warning of shipping or imminent arrival that time.

Mine still preparing to ship also. Lack of confirmation from anyone seems to indicate none have been shipped:(

Yup no movement on my side. I did have a starlord charge at the same time that has already shipped. So whatever hold up is going on is particular to this figure. Maybe they just don't have the inventory in yet?

Thats what I was wondering , I did ask an no one there can give me an answer one way or another . Thanks for the info.

Still no shipping notice on this. Credit card charged Thursday. Haven?t encountered this before with SS.

It has happened in the past with them. The date they give that they'll charge and ship is based on when they expect the shipment to clear customs and get to them. There was more than likely a delay and they don't even have them yet. Probably should hear something on Monday to Tuesday in regards to the shipping status.

UPS got really squirrely re its tracking this past summer. Complained to Amazon, Sideshow, Target. Which got me my stuff; if UPS tracking sez it's at the hub 5 minutes from me then deliver my stuff, d@mmit.

Except there is was good info on Reddit from drivers that explained if a truck gets filled ur stuff might just be on belt, going around again, like at the airport. Plus Covid and the backups and all.

Am trying to get anything shipping in by early November at latest; or stall the shipments until late January. Figure it will be a real *&^%show:horror this *holiday* season. News is saying a rough winter re Covid and flu. Which means drivers who are ill etc.

I gotta wait anyway; my final payment isn't until 29th. But - unless there is issue can already tell this is stellar fig; for me it's this year's IW Bucky. When everything is pretty much outstanding re details.:drool

Very possibly the case. The old stuck in the ports problem perhaps. But will never know for sure if it's that, or if the shipping department wanted a long weekend :lol

Hate when this happens on Friday, means I might not even get my order in hand next week.

I would be more forgiving if customer service would have just said that there was delay with getting it into the warehouse. Ater taxes and shipping its close to a $300 purchase. I do agree with a previous poster who said we should here something by Monday or Tuesday.

I have had it happen a few times over the years. A week or two passing after being charged before shipping. They have 30 days by law to ship after the final payment so i never called them or worried about it i knew it would ship eventually.

I have the couple of day delay happen a number of times. I think the most I've waited for about a week after being charged. I think they estimate based on when something arrives at port and sometimes it gets delayed. I did get a shipping notification for Starlord on time or with a one day lag...can't remember for sure.

Not sure if this has been shared yet but if you want a massive detailed ship this will probably be as big as it gets.

I wish hot toys would do something like this for background characters like skiff guards, lobot, rebel troops, veers, and so on.

They're doing me the same way. I do think SSC actually has the figure in their warehouse. I think there's just a LOT of people who ordered this figure, and their warehouse staff is probably reduced from covid. So they're just super-busy, with fewer people working than ever.

We'll see what happens Monday 09/29 I guess.

Exactly. Costs to do a "niche" figure are way lower than something like this. Hopefully Hot Toys are watching what others are doing in the market.

If not, they should be.

It was Mando's turn to ride the Kaadu

You could be right, I could se them doing other orders first such as starlord so they can just focus getting Mando out this week.
