Hot Toys SOLO Mudtrooper

My photography skills are horrible and these pics were taken with my phone and are pretty much unfutzed straight out of the box.

I can't come close to showing the stock figure as well as some folks already have but thought I would share this idea I had for an alternate sculpt that I think goes really well with the Mudtrooper theme. I'll use it on my second figure. This is a DID sculpt, bear in mind it does not seamlessly fit on the HT body without modification, right now mine is just resting on top. I believe TA has one in stock and it is available on eBay as well if anyone is interested.

Looks good. I had a similar idea for creating a more generic trooper instead of Han.

With PC being shorted 100 Krenic's and SS seemingly only getting a handful of mudtroopers (fingers crossed more are on the way) I'm wondering if HT just slashed production due to Covid on these figs there already seemed to be some reluctance on their part to produce and are letting the retailers deal with it...

Pure uniformed speculation... like the other 99% of posts in this forum

This figure has brought me much pain.

Twice I have paired it with figures in anticipation of it shipping -- once with Dooku so long ago, and recently with BCS Bond. Now its pushed until August and I have to figure out a 3rd figure to pair it with.

They say they normally get Hot Toys' stock 6-8 weeks after the Secret Base release.

Going by the date of the photos on Hot Toys' Facebook, which was at the end of April, 8 weeks is about now.

Me too. But depending where you live there are still restrictions on deliveries for the normal cheaper airmail for packages.

Ground shipping in the US is moving mostly business as usual. Doesn't seem to be the case worldwide.

My Han Solo Mudtrooper arrived today.
This figure is really really good, the inspired WW2 vibe blends so well with the concept of an early armoured Imperial Stormtrooper.
