Two things from a new hope I have a super soft spot for, Hammerhead and Gonk. Don't know why, but those side characters they just really call to me.

Superb!

For those that haven't got anything from Scratch and Pete before - these guys are off the planet in every way! Coupled with the insane work Rusty has done, this thing is now the ultimate, screen-accurate, Gonk of all time.

Anyone on the fence should jump!

Can't wait to get one!!!!!

Mmmm- Donuts!

These look fantastic!! Amazing work guys, I can?t wait to see it all painted up!

A little update from me guys: Originally I planned on giving Pete this finished prototype, him painting it then Rusty showing the finished build and locking in the price, then I have it back to make the moulds for reproduction.
Speaking with Pete he says the pigments / weathering techniques he'll be using may damage or even destroy the silicone mould so a slight change of plan.
This is probably the best way to do things anyway, so now I am making the moulds first and casting a few Gonks and getting them to Pete, this way I will still have the original unpainted prototype to make more moulds later if needed, as realistically I can only get 20 very high quality casts from each mould set.
I'm away this weekend at the Comicon so looking at next weekend to start casting.

New silicone rubber has been delivered so I can get cracking on the moulds Saturday morning, so if all goes to plan first casts will be Sunday.

That's great news. Does Pete have the master for painting?

Not yet, the plan was to get the prototype over to Pete to paint & weather, so we could fix a price and show you guys, then I'd have it back to make the moulds but Pete said the paints / weathering may damage or react with the delicate silicone moulds.
So now I need to make the mould before painting (which probably makes more sense tbh) plus I can keep the master prototype just in case we need more moulds making later.

Moulds will be done tomorrow and should be able to make the first few casts Sunday.

Gonk moulds are all done and will most likely be the weekend before I can do the first few casts.
I need to tidy the J-Cave as there's a lot of builds going on ready for release 2020.

PS I'm just finishing off a couple of other secret SW vehicle builds (as well as the Landspeeder) which are simply mind blowing and will be showcased over the next few weeks.

Scrapped the first moulds as there were a few imperfections and I never compromise on quality.
First two are fully built and primed ready for Pete, who will have them by the end of the week.
Have posted on FB & IG with the latest updates as I'm still having a few issues with posting images on here.
Have sent RustyJ a couple of the latest images

Looks excellent. Can't wait to see Pete's paint job.
