This is the second HT Maul I'll pass on (third if you count deluxe option) as I felt the Sideshow Maul was just fine. Kind of glad that my wallet is getting a break from Star Wars as Marvel has been killing me lately

WTF? Kudos to all who are happy with this, but WTF?
We wait for months for Star Wars after 7,546 marvel figure reveals and we get a third maul and a sequel trooper. The guy was cut in half, it was ridiculous to bring him back to begin with. There better be plenty of ot goodness on display the is week or I will angrily type on a website about expensive dolly toys that I want.

Well except for Deluxe Jedi Luke annouced in August last year, which was really not that an excited release though. So far up to this moment we havent gotten any decent OT characters...so I completely understand your pain.

Description says it includes "One (1) pair of articulated robotic legs with metallic painting and weathering effects". Sounds like plastic to me. If they made Ultron out of plastic, I can't see them going die-cast just for these legs.

Yeah, but the cynic in me thinks this is about it for Solo figures. I don't seem HT doing a Krennic for R1 for Solo. Shame considering I wanted Corealia Han.

Yeah, chances are slim for anything else from Solo but you never know what HT have up their sleeve. Still hoping for a couple troopers as they could be features in the coming TV content.

Despite my fondness for maul I have a general aversion to the prequel trilogy. This however is representative of the version of maul that rehabilitated the character for me. I'm in for this too

Anyway, while I don't have a great desire to own this, I want the next Disney+ series about Crime Boss Darth Maul.

Yeah Park is by no means chubby I just think they made his face look older with makeup.

This has a cool and interesting look but I definitely prefer the TPM over this. Though this saber is cooler.

This and the mimban stormtrooper are the only figures I would have gotten from Solo, but i certainly didn't expect to see old maul before the trooper or at all. I wonder if the heads from the regular maul will work with this?

Also, I find it hilarious that Hot Toys doesn't brand their SW figures from the newer movies with the movie logos, just a generic star wars logo.

Really kinda torn on which Maul to get now. The more I see this version I think it’s badass looking. The other version is probably more iconic though and if I pick up Qui-Gon they’d display nicely together. Not planning on two Mauls.
