Well I picked up the "Thunder Axe" in advance of getting Thor. Got it for $45 shipped on eBay, and supposedly its from the newer batch. I don't have a first wave one to compare it to, but it doesn't FEEL like it'd wilt. I guess we'll have to wait and see. It's decent, the paint's not HT quality, but good enough. The only complaints I have are the design of the electronics. The battery snaps in REALLY tight, and you have to have one for the back cap to stay on; which is a pain if you don't like keeping batteries in your toys. I also wish there was an on-off switch or something that I cold rig to be always on, instead of this "shake to turn on" thing.

You can clap, no need to shake. And you can use a small eyelet or other piece of metal to hold the magnetic battery door shut instead of the battery. :duff But I agree about the always on. I'm customizing mine to do just that.

Just got my BT Thunder Axe, is it meant to curve like this? What the hell

EDIT: IDK how to flip the image I'm sorry

I mean that's one way of doing it but I ain't got the skills to do that or the funds atm to send it to you :/

Try the Thanos shirt approach. Heat it up just below the axe head, bend it back straight, then dip it in cool water (of course keep the axe head out of the water if it's the light-up type).

p.s. - Use a hair dryer.

Yeah I'll try to do that, thanks!
