I had no idea what this was, but some searching took me to Kamen Rider (whatever that is!)

Then I found a description:

The G Men (Ｇメン, Jī Men) is the space-time police force that Reiji Kurosaki (Kamen Rider G Den-O) is a member of.

I was struck by the look of the figure because it made me think of the early Star Wars expanded universe - the Brian Daley/L. Neil Smith era.

Love the costume design. I saw the red figure before and assumed it was a videogame franchise.

On the BBICN forum they were only referring to Ultraman, and this was posted:

Searching with Google Lens turned up a Japanese site with more photos, and a caption saying it was Koseidon Corps uniform, which appears to be Ultraman.

From what I've seen of this Japanese genre I suspect the quality of the figure transcends the source material.
