Statue Tweeterhead Hordak MOTU 1/5 maquette

Just got an invoice. $170 shipping invoice from Tweeterhead to the UK, and a ?140 customs and duty invoice on top of that from Fedex. That's $362 for a $450 statue. Does that sound right?

Had to send mine back. They sent me two by mistake, they asked me to return the package. I turned it before customs, as I would have to pay VAT for overpriced postage (they accidently sent 2 statues), VAT and customs fees for second statue, as they would notice at customs inspection that there is not one, but two of declared items. And getting back money that you once pay to the state is hard and lenghty process, so I rather returned the box back before that duty came. So waiting for Tweeterhead to receive both statues back and send my back to Europe with normal postage (and hope they will return part of that overpriced postage I paid to them already).

Yeah, the sent me two as well under separate tracking numbers. They managed to get one stopped when it arrived in Australia, and the other one was delivered to me. I am just trying to check with them now whether the invoice I paid for shipping was actually for two, and not one!

Love the options available to display this new Hordak! So glad I got the exclusive with the cartoon head sculpt and arm cannon! Havent tried the cape yet, but it looks frickin awesome without it!

Such a gorgeous statue and so glad Tweeterhead are continuing the series from Sideshow! Shame that my regular head sculpt has a small chip on the head sculpt, but hopefully they can help me out with a replacement. Other than that, this statue is pretty much perfection!

Stopped the package where they sent me two Hordaks, they returned my money. So I purchased at least regular Hordak. Arrived today, already chilling with his buds.

Looks like Tweeterhead will milk Hordak a bit more. Variant version, repainted, with robotic head and cannon arm, will be up for preorder on 11th September according to their newsletter.

So basically, the stuff that made the exclusive the exclusive, is now being used in the re-release.

The cape looks different and of course he's blue instead of gray, but now there's nothing really exclusive anymore about the original exclusive version.

Same statue (repaited, grey was replaced by blue. Only robot head, right hand and cannon right hand, only left hand, no second left hand with staff. All red cape (original had black with red inside). Pictures from Tweetehead FB page. 575 USD, 250 pieces edition size.

The only PCS 1:4 MOTU statue that I have is the Battlecat EX behind statues in the picture. To compare, I have to use 1:4 Boba Fett (other than that I only have Mythos SW statues and MOTU ones, all of them 1:5).

It is a continuation of the Sideshow line. There have been rumors that Tweeterhead will do their own versions of the one Sideshow made at some point. Only place you’ll find the exclusive Hordak is eBay at this point. Sold out long ago.

is the current battle cat/he-man they are doing is a different line and take from their current 1/5 legends? they will be doin separate he-man and battle cat for the 1/5 legends also?
