I got bit sick and tired searching for a metal butchers knife to replace the fragile plastic knife my TOTS 78.

So made one from Scratch using a 1/32 piece of sheet metal ( stainless steel ) from the local hobby shop and paddlepop ( ice cream sticks ).
Using a dremel tool to cut the basic shape , then filing it down and cleaning it up . Removing majority of any scratches using 400grit metal /plastic sandpaper , then all the way to 3000 grit for a nice chrome finish. Then cut to basic shape two pieces of the Icecream stick then superglue gelled the handles to the Blade. Then using a scalpel and a miniature plane tool, shaved each side of the handle down to a realistic thickness and tested the fit with the blade holding hand . once happy with the fit then used wood glue to fill any gap between the blade and handle ( mainly at the end of the handle ) let sit over night to dry. used games workshop nulon oil to stan the wood a few times. then final clean up of the blade with 3000 grit . I m pretty happy with it , its not 100% accurate but sure looks really cool.

I got a wooden ice cream stick ( we call them paddlepop sticks here in australia ) they are fairly thin flat sticks. I then cut two pieces one for each side of roughly equal length and size. They are alot thicker than the original plastic handle on the TOTS knife , so once each piece was glued on each side I sanded and carved it down ( with a scalpel / exacto knife ) until i found a perfect fit for the hand.

any gaps between the blade and the two sides of the handle , i filled it wood glue and once dry i sanded i smooth and curved the end somewhat . then applied a few coats of games workshop Nulon Oil to the wood.

Still waiting for the ToTS 2018 Myers from collectiblesdirect.co.uk.

Paid for him in March, but it was pretty open ended because while it said Q1, it also said, 'No stock, on request'. Being over £44 cheaper than Mad About Horror was too much of a saving not to go for it.

Last I heard he was due Q2, which is ending in a couple of weeks.
