I think there may be a way to change the camera angle, but I kind of liked the third person view.

You only go into forced third-person when you switch off the...I want to say "flight assist". After you've killed those few drones at the beginning of the training in third person, you're free to do what you want. Just press the button (X?) to turn the assist back on and you'll be able to switch between 3 or 4 different views, including inside-the-cockpit view. I think I had to click in one of the analog sticks to switch views.

I saw some footage on this game and was wondering who else had this on their radar? It comes out next week. I really am not into aerial combat games but this one looks pretty good.

bought HAWX today for pc and it just looks amazing at 1920x1200 4x anti all setting on high.

Awsome game so far exept for me and a friend where trying to play coop missions and he kept getting disconnected but for the little bit we where playing it was a blast covering hes wing while he took out some tanks.


cant wait to unlock the F-14!!

hell yea man !!
I love the soundtrack too !! it just puts you right in the middle of the dogfight of your life.

one of the missions was to destroy an enemy flag ship and this thing was just lunching SAM missels at me like crazy and I saw one get launch off and was just trailing right behind me and I am telling you guys the effect look so real that I was griping my flight stick so hard watting for the rigth moment to pull on the stick and deploy flares.
