Well, well!!

Cannot wait!!

Saw pixel dans coverage and was pretty much floored by the announcement. Definitaly looking forward to this subscription! I would like some fierce looking sculpts instead but these are early prototypes so we'll see. Loving 'em so far!

I think these look great so far. Sure, Lion-O's face could be a little more show accurate and his tunic should be a little more purple than blue but it still looks great. Jackelman needs to be a bit thinner as well.

A good idea in theory, but Lion-O's head looks weird. I'm not a huge T-Cats fan, but if Hasbro ever had the sense to license out GI Joe (to. . .their primary toy competitors. . . :( ), I would probably buy every figure and wacky variant they came up with.

I can't wait for these. I hope they are more show accurate than just throwing a head sculpt on the heman bodies. I got and love the Bandai one but I wish they completed the team.
So how does Matty collector work do you need a subscription to get these. I want the cats and that's about it. I don't want to locked into a subscription and get everything that comes out.

Since they are reusing the MOTUC buck, all figures will look similar in build.

I already have the excellent one from Bandai, so I am good ;)

Not sure if serious.... [emoji15]

They are indeed reusing the MOTUC buck but there's lots of new sculpted things besides the head.

You can pick and choose but it sometimes gets crazy during day of sale... And you miss out on the sub-exclusive

I'm super stoked about these guys!!
Cannot wait for Ssslythe or Mumm-Ra by the 4H!!!

what no love for the Bandai Lion O Kuzeh? he was a good scale, highly articulated, had both versions of the sword of omens, option of having claw gauntlet (wich you could store the shorter version of the sword in) off or on (and when off could hang from his tunic).

The Bandai ones are good but there's only 2 plus 1 exclusive release. This one has better paint apps and matte finishing, Bandai has a glossy finishing. I wonder how he'd look like with matte finishing. also price wise Bandai is much cheaper.

I like it for what it is, but The sword is all bendy, the flesh colored joints in the boots are distracting, all those screws on the back are awful and the shiny finish made it look cheap.
This new version will look so much better!

Thundercats is a toyline I never had as a kid and always wanted. The Classic line from Bandai was just pitiful because they changed scales and it ended so quickly. I love the Four Horsemen sculpting and the MOTUC style. Thundercats fits in perfectly with what Mattel has been doing with He-man. Oh, what I would give for a similar Silverhawks line :thud:
