Aside from my jornalista-level clickbait, I'm going to explain why I prefer 30fps to 60fps, but first, a quick rundown of what the CPU and GPU are for: Graphical effects like lightning and shadows, as well as resolution, are handled by the GPU.

The CPU is in charge of AI, physics, simulations, the number of interactive objects that can be displayed on screen, as well as non-interactive objects and other non-graphics items.

This implies that no matter how low you set the resolution, if the CPU is overworked, the game will still run at 30 frames per second.

Now that that's out of the way, the reason I want 30 frames per second is that I want games to crush the CPU, which means I want them to feature the most advanced AI, physics, and simulations, as well as be as interactive as possible.

If you ask me whether I prefer better gameplay or 60 frames per second, I will say gameplay.
