There is a story here. back in the day when I was an annoying little 15 year old terrorizing the Spawn Message boards harassing Todd and co for to making comic accurate figures (I still take part responsibility for the Capullo inspired series 20 modifications by the way)

Let me retroactively thank you for being part of this. I lurked on the Spawn board for years back then and never posted, but I do remember seeing the updated Overt-kill sculpt for the first time, that was such a vast improvement! S17 and S20 will always remain my favorite Spawn lines from back then.

Got mine tonight at 8:45pm via DHL and I did a review. Posting it to YouTube as I wrote this. A lot to like and quite a few disappointments as well. Not thrilled with the underlying body or the rubbery suit. Also the accessories like the broad sword and BFG feel cheap. Like something from a Jakks Big Fig. They are hollow and light and the Sword especially could use a good repainting. From the knees down there aren’t any joints. They are boot feet both left and right. The figure itself standing there looks amazing….how could it not? It’s a big ass Spawn but it’s just a shame the quality isn’t there. As something to sit of the shelf you’ll be thrilled. If your expecting to be able to pose the heck out of it or thinking it’s typical 1/6 scale quality you’ll be disappointed. It’s a shame because I think Hot Toys, Blitzway, DamToys and even third party manufacturers like LimToys, VTS, and SooSooToys have maybe have spoiled me….

Great honest review, I didn’t have super high expectations and had an idea on what I was getting based on this companies previous releases like RE2 remake tyrant. Looks good IMO on a shelf to stand alone. I may do the old trick with the chains I did with HT Ghost Rider use thin wire or paper clip run thru to make the chain poseable. Yeah museum pose all day, I wonder if this guy will be cut or limited bc of Todd taking it down. Who cares this one will stay in the collection the only “big” Spawn figure in the market lol. Cheers!

Just opened them up and posed them this is got to be one of the most best looking visual figures in my collection too bad this is definitely not six scale more like 1:4 as mentioned but he stands out and that cape I’m convinced is alive lol.

Although, I ultimately decided to pass on this because of the size, Im hoping the hype gets Todd’s attention that there is indeed an interest for a true 1/6 Spawn and he develops one.

Thanks! And yes, it's the modern kickstarter. He's back to the regular cape look in my display now, but I did buy the latest throne Spawn, with the intent of customizing him into a proper commando Spawn similar to his issue 55 look.
