I'm completely done with Marvel so I'm incredibly bored with the entertainment industry right now without The Mandalorian. The Fett show can't come soon enough and it's still about four months off. Besides that I have mild interest in the new season of Dexter and the Ghostbusters movie.

Stahp it was bad enough reading some headline about Filoni hinting at Jedi action which I assume means more Filoni-verse stuffing into Mandalorian e.g. more turning this series into a Clone Wars sequel with every SW character dead or alive turning up for a cameo, and Mando (probably) being nerfed in his own show by a parade of politically correct diverse female characters.

It was all so perfect and then slid to the Dark Side of nostalgia commercialism and rehash. Blighted by the loss of one of the best new female SW characters in years (Cara). :stake

2022 topped off with Amazon potentially messing with Middle Earth, and the 2nd part of Dune being told from the "female perspective":pow by an actress who seems to be capable of 1 or 2 expressions, total. Even a couple of my favorite MCU characters watered down into a tepid, cringe offering only relieved by the co-stars and a last minute save by the Loki series. When my Hasbro Razor Crest shows up I'll cry, thinking of the Mandalorian that might have been, which certainly would have had someone like Luke showing up at the END of the series, and looking, yah know, less waxy, overall.

I just hope Season 3 shifts the focus back on Mando.

Imagine Favreau's big secret appearance in season 3 is the return of Gina/Cara Dune🙉

That would be a relief of IMO a show permanently marred by hypocrisy. Huh.

Well, yeah. It's not like I MIND live action Rebels or Clone Wars. But it wasn't why I got into the Mandalorian.

I chuckled at the callback to ROTJ when Bo Katan was speaking to the cruiser requesting to land, I instantly thought of Han reciting the code on Endor. How could they not recognize their voices :lol

Blowing up the Razor Crest on the show was a signal. Enter the Filoniverse.
They should introduce a Basilisk War Droid for him to ride. So badass, but I'm sure it will be some never seen before transport.

Well....I DO mind. If I wanted to watch Rebels or Clones Wars, I would have watched them. If season 3 starts down that path of following this clone or that Jedi and Mando is essentially a guest star in his own show, I'll just stop watching.

All the charactets that have shown up from Clone Wars or Rebels make sense though. You need Bo-Katan as she’s the only known living Mandalorian that has ties with the Jedi, that specific Jedi being Ahsoka, who then helps him find THE Jedi (Luke).

Like it or not, Clone Wars and Rebels are important entries in the Star Wars universe now. It’s like watching a Marvel movie and complaining that a character from another movie shows up.

From what I’ve heard The Mandalorian is only gonna have 4 seasons, which is fine as I don’t need every show to drag on for 12 seasons and become stale, but then it’s not going to end but morph into a different show that focuses on different character POVs similar to Game of Thrones in structure.

4 seasons is fine - hopefully 4 good seasons. I want Mando front and centre in a Mando show though.

I loved almost all of the unique Mando supporting characters too. Bill Burr's Mayfeld is my favorite, but Carl Weathers was cool. And G*** C***** is one of my favorite female SW characters by a good stretch.

The worst for me was Ahsoka, and Bo Katan and Koska Reeves and their friend Cannon Fodder did almost nothing for me, although they were all right in the last episode.

If the show goes the predictable route and ends with Din becoming Lord Mandalore King of all the Mandalorians, that'll be kinda boring for me.

I think a nice ending would be for him to fly back to that backwater planet, lose the helmet, and settle down with that chick that had the hots for him. He can keep his guns and stuff and keep them safe.

Bo Katan can go off and be king of the Mandos. Or maybe they'll subvert the old expectations and right as she's about to "win" it all she'll tragically get shot from behind, and her hot ass wrestler friend will have to take her place as Mando, ruler of all the Mandos.

So evil. Wait for the girlies with the half shaved heads from CW show up with their ship to save the day. Along with Ahsoka.

What a great name for a side character! In the Trek universe, Ensign Cannon Fodder would undoubtedly wear a red shirt!
