Anyone selling a Raiders PF for a decent price? Been itching to try my hand at customizing a statue as opposed to a 1/6 scale, seems like a great one to start with as long as I'm not breaking the bank.

Finally added the ultimate showpiece to my Premium Format Indy: a true 1:4 scale real leather braided whip by Joe Strain, using the exact measurements from a screen-used Raiders whip! An incredible beautiful work of art. Thanks Joe!

Hi Everyone,

Just joined after getting bit by the collector bug.

I bought the Indy 1/4 sideshow statue a while back and noticed the jacket is falling apart now. I read through the older post and I guess this was a common thing for this statue. Other than getting a real jacket made out of leather, what glue do you all recommend for fixing the tears?

I'm going to weather and repaint the jacket with acrylics but I have to fix the tears before.

The tears are caused by the glue they used drying out, at least where the sleeve cuffs are. The rest is just the poor quality pleather that was used. The cracks might just get worse once you start working with them. A new jacket would be the best option if budget allows.
oh, and watch that collector bug, it keeps you poor!

Just hitting this thread after noticing my idol has worn off little areas of the jacket. Had me curious about some of the other customs I'm seeing here. Still going through the MASSIVE thread, so forgive me if these are already asked, but how does one go about with some of the custom stuff? I've sent a PM to mfisher as I came across his name.

How would go go about replacing the clothing? There doesn't seem to be any detachable limbs.

Could anyone who has a premium format measure the size of the satchel width and height (in inches or cm)? And also the width of the satchel strap in mm? Had a request for my TOD Sankara satchel but not sure if it's a realistic endeavor since bags or 1/4 scale stones aren't readily available.

If you still need that information TonTon here it is.

Satchel strap on the Temple of Doom is 5mm. On the Raiders it is bigger around 7mm. The TOD one looks much better in my opinion.

Both bags are roughly the same. 7 cm up and down and 6.5 cm across.

Of the three stones two are the same length wise 4.5cm and one is shorter 4cm. All three have pretty much the same width 2.4.cm.

Here is also a picture of the Temple satchel next to the one you did for comparison. Hope some of that helps.
