Some shots of my Preacher. The paint job is really nice on this, although I do think Sideshow took the "pale rider" thing a little too literally, as he's looking far more ghostly pale than Eastwood ever looked in the movie. šŸ˜„

Also, unless you have him looking straight ahead, there will be some pretty unsightly neck gaps created, which I didn't have much luck hiding on mine.

I only just noticed from your last photo that Sideshow did something odd with the Remington.

The Remington 1858 had a very distinctive shape, created by the blade under the loading lever.

It was a distinction of their 1875 cartridge version as well:

I wonder if Sideshow had to change the design due to licensing? The change is comparatively small, but if you're familiar with Remingtons of the period it makes a massive difference to the appearance.

Would shaving down the neck peg help with that?

Beautiful pics! Figure turned out really well, especially for Sideshow. If only all their figures had this kind of quality.

Microsixgun Colt 1860 revolver better than I expected.

"Hell on Wheels. Population: " One less every day"
Image attached of Colt 1860 revolver, last few remaining.

Do you you have it in hand?

It looks so much better in the second two photos than it does in the first two. The last photo looks a much sharper casting. What's going on with that?

You talking to me?

Yes I do, it is as you mention a much sharper casting than images we have seen, I did apply a little heat to the barrel to get it straight. For me and Mr Josey Wales it should suffice.

That Blondie sculpt becomes more of a disappointment the more I see it. It looks okay in certain light, but not a real winner. The Preacher looks better, but it definitely has that "caricature" aspect to it. The best shots are the obscured face ones .ie the hat hiding the face. They have been some of SS's best work, but I don't think that says much.
