Sideshow Ben Kenobi head swap

Good day everyone,

I've got the itch to swap the old Sideshow Ben Kenobi head sculp for one of the custom ones that I have seen for sale online. My concern is the joint compatibility. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've thought about having mine repainted before, as there are some impressive "after" shots of that online, but have always been reticent about popping the head off an older figure. I'd be interested in what others have to add here and what you come up with on your swap.

I'll start tinkering with it when I get some time. I'd hate to play Highlander just to find out there is some compatability issue. Lol

Well those older Sideshow figures still have potential. The heads come off with a short dunk in some boiling water and a gentle tug. In terms of joint compatibility, they should work with little to no need for modifications. A little blue tak goes a long way.
