Put the bigger throttle body on today, looked down in the manifold just to see how bad the casting was, I was shocked that it’s a damn near perfect mold. The throat is clear going all the way to the runners

Yet more progress... still rough inside, but man it's a lot faster all around.
Interior work soon and maybe some exterior smoothing out later this year, then I can just drive it and stop spending huge amounts of money for a while.

There are fully electric platforms that can be made for late model vehicles including older Mopar muscle. They run about that much. I would image electric crate motors will eventually become more readily available as well. To fully restore any old car will cost at least 100K done properly, easily 10's of 1000's more depending on what you do. The car hobby will always find a way to continue, which is a good thing.
