Now that looks amazing, okieh! The red in the outer eyes and the beardwork really bring him to life. Not to mention how much better you got the hair to look than Asmus's rooted.... attempt. Guessing InArt's won't be too tempting for you. :aragorn

Makes me realize that one day I would like to take my Asmus SLIM Aragorn and commission an artist to reroot better hair on the head sculpt. Maybe get the face repainted as well. I’m pleased with the figure out of the box, but done right that could look amazing.

Hey all,

I would like to share my current collection with you :) Last year decided to sell all my MCU figures and mainly collect Lord of the Rings and Hobbit figures. Hot Toys figures are outstanding but I love Middle Earth 10 times more than MCU or any other franchise and I am pretty happy I did this transition.

Thanks everyone! I’m also considering offloading most of my Marvel figs to concentrate on ones that personally have more meaning and enduring appeal.
I have Boromir on PO as well as Gollum/Sméagol, although I’m teetering on cancelling the latter since I inherited the Weta statue that came with a dvd on how Gollum was created. I feel it captures the character better than the Asmus offering, not to mention I have also preordered the InArt Aragorn, so I need to save a bit of cash for that.
Anyway, I’m extremely happy with the collection and totally appreciate what Asmus has accomplished so far.
