An amazing talent has passed:
Mort Drucker, master of the Mad caricature, is dead at 91 <br/>

Good times as a kid sucking on a slurpee busting a gut at his uncanny ability to capture the likeness of famous people.
The words were fine but not needed when Drucker was the artist.

When I trace back the biggest artistic/creative influences in my life, Mort Drucker is right up there.

RIP.

Bummer. I loved this magazine growing up, and still have some issues (with folded back covers, of course). RIP, and thanks for the laughs.

It's always sad when an influential talent dies, but I honestly thought this guy died about 20 years ago. He lived to 91. That's pretty damn good.

Same thing with Stan Lee. I know people were upset, but he was almost 100 and he had an amazing life. That's the best any of us can hope for.

I get way more upset when people die young. These guys in their 90s had great full lives.
