Another comic left us too soon.

A foretelling photo of Bob Saget, Louie Anderson, and Gilbert Gottfried. All three passed away this year in order from left to right on the photo.

A great comedian
I will never forget the first time I saw this and laughed so hard …



Yes! That's the first time I saw him and that was the best scene! We imitated that character for months after.
 
My understanding is that he was a troubled guy, and he unfortunately was the victim of "cancel culture," which has been difficult water for comedians to wade through. But his unvarnished humor is something that we could use more of in this world, in my opinion. It takes guts to challenge the status quo and to risk offending people for the sake of the art of comedy. Very distinctive guy with (literally) a very distinctive voice.
 
He was, like many before him, one of a kind! A comedic genius who had a shtick and stuck to it, good or bad. He was able to stand out and will be remembered for a long time.
