Wow, that is a massive ES for something like this considering so many other companies have done a similar helm.

If I didnt already have the (damn good) Weta 1/4 Sauron Helm & the Weta Barad-dur I would be all over this. Now its only something I would get if I had a spare chunk of change (unlikely)

I wanted to get it for myself at first but had no space and don't collect LOTR. I ended up Pre-Ordering this for my son. I really did not think my son would care. He is not into "statues" and never seems to care when I show him LOTR collectibles, even though they are his fav movies. He does like and collect some of the swords from the films. When I showed him this, he got really excited. He even liked the Barad-dûr base, which is what I thought he would not like. He's a quiet kid when it comes to things he gets excited about so I had to get it for him.

Of course with this price I am making him do extra chores around the house until it arrives

I just noticed this is missing the back of the helm. I am sure this is so you can fit it on the display stand properly but I do which it was the full helm as I am sure my son will end up figuring it out also and be a little let down. Oh well

Yes… They are big also. I might have waited and tried to get a good deal on one of those if I knew the back of the helmet on this one was missing. Oh well as long as my kid is happy. Maybe he won’t notice lol
