Have they released pics and videos of the production piece?

If it's complaints about the teeth not being chromed that's old news and most if not all buyers of this would already know, it gets pointless complaining about the same thing over and over again

This is the exact same statue in the new pictures of it at the sideshow store. There is only one prototype of it. The lighting is all that has changed. They haven't released an official image of a statue from the production line yet, of the dx.

Yep.. That was my point. All the same piece.. Just different lighting.

After seeing these photos all i can say is It's a very contradictory statue.
The body paint ap is extremely detailed and well executed while the teeth look like a joke! Like you took a plastic denture and put it in a high end statue.
I'll fix mine when i get it but I'm the minority and that's unfair for the rest that can't or don't want to fix it.

If this is indeed production pieces, they nailed the sculpt with a nice sharp paint finish.

Teeth shape look fine. As several others here have suggested, just needs a wash and touch up to give it a darker hue towards the bottom. This is similar to their 1/2 scale endo, sculpt and paint were great but teeth needed a wash to make it look more organic with the rest of the statue. Made a huge difference on my endo and I'm sure once done on the Chap, it'd be almost impossible to tell it apart from the prototype. Another excellent piece from Prime 1. Can't wait to get a closer look in upcoming reviews/vids of this fella.

Love the symetrical look of the museum pose with it's wallmount as a background. Also a great paintjob and as a piece of Giger art. For the size and ES of 100 relatively cheap I think. The movie piece with the dynamic pose it might be a bit too inaccurate (paint & shape) for me. Also the museum pose looks a bit more threatening to me.

Misses won't let me, no wiggle room for it unfortunately, I tried lol. I wanted the action pose big chap dx, as I know it'll go well with the 1/2 endo and 1/3 pred.

She may change her mind down the track, or maybe it's my wishful thinking haha. I'm definitely not looking forward to snag one of these in the off market due to the low ES, and I'll bet it'll be as hard as the CM to find in future, alien fans seem to grow by the day, given the amount of media exposure it still has.

These statue replicas are getting awfully close to the real thing, quality pieces like this will definitely be sought after.

It doesn't look like Chap's right arm is fully seated into the torso. I hope that's user error and not an issue.

Looks fantastic, I will be doing some custom airbrush on the teeth to make them chrome. It looks fine as is, but I will definitely strip the silver off and airbrush them chrome.
I'm very pleased with this statue all together though.

I would dearly love to own one of these but it's the sheer size of them that puts me off from purchasing due to lack of room for me. I think you'd probably need a large apartment/flat/house/mansion to display and a damn big cupboard in which to store the box. My congratulations to all who have managed to order one though!

everything looks perfect but the teeth are just horribly done... Why Prime 1 f..D up those teeth ...seriously. For that price point we should have perfect separate chromed teeth, not that ugly silver with black lines in between.... Anyway. Glad all looks really good. Sad they messed up those theeth...

Yep, honestly the only way to fix this I'd to strip off the silver and paint them black then airbrush a mirror chrome. I'm honestly looking forward to doing this. P1 may delay even longer and fix it but I doubt it.

and how will you deal with those black lines ? I still have my molotow chromed pencil but i doubt i can do anything for those black lines. It's a shame cause the piece is really outstanding, they nailed everything exept that. It seems the teeth aren't separate. If you have some special contacts into Prime 1, try to convince them lol but i doubt they will change. it deserves to give it a try.

The black lines will be stripped off with the silver. I'll probably shade dark at the base. If I need to paint black lines I'll do it minimal I'm curious what it will look like without the silver.
The dogs teeth are similar to this tbh but it's such a small space. Chrome pen is one way to do it without an airbrush.

Yeah i know but the dog had a darker silver which suited the piece perfectly, here it looks cheap, badly done and as collectors and alien lovers we were expecting chromed teeth. Surely better in hands but , it's a bit sad cause they raised the piece to almost perfection. Not sure i have the skill to do it better with my pencil, we'll see. You will surely do it perfectly.

Sooooooo the guy who took the pics above has reported that it is leaning backwards... to the point that the dome is touching the wall... really worried about the Ex leaning forward and falling off a shelf
