I wonder what the price will be, the other 1/4 pieces are quite pricey.

“Naughty little fly! Why does it cry? Caught in a web! Soon you'll be... eaten.”
- Gollum to Frodo in Shelob’s lair

Prime 1 Studio is incredibly proud to present the next offering in our Premium Masterline The Lord of the Rings series: Frodo and Gollum from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King!

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is the culmination of the magnificent Lord of the Rings trilogy from esteemed director Peter Jackson. In the Second Act, unable to kill Frodo himself, Gollum leads the hapless hobbit into the lair of the spider-demon, Shelob!

Prime 1 Studio skillfully captures the moment wherein a vulnerable, but courageous Frodo Baggins ventures into Cirith Ungol, oblivious to the betrayal he is about to befall. Gollum urges Frodo into Shelob’s lair; his plan: to steal the One Ring from Frodo after he has fallen prey to the spider-demon! The facial subtlety of Frodo’s growing concern and Gollum’s malicious intent have both been captured by our talented sculptors. We have used synthetic hair not only on Frodo’s hobbit-feet but also on Gollum’s head to emphasize the superior quality of our statue. Our studio painters have adeptly rendered the journey-worn clothes of Frodo and Gollum’s sickly pallor. Frodo strides forth aided by the small, but mighty, Sting in his right hand and the Phial of Galadriel (with water imbued by the Light of E?rendil, illuminated by our built-in LED) held aloft in his left.

At about 18 inches, Frodo and Gollum are presented together on a mixed-media, environmental base that encapsulates the dread that only the land of Mordor can elicit. They are surrounded by tell-tale signs of the spider-demon with bony scraps and eerie, spider-silk webbing. Familiar Tengwar script surrounds the base, denoting the Black speech that is painful for all but hobbits to hear: "Ash nazg durbatul?k, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatul?k, agh burzum-ishi krimpatul".
And aptly enough, this statue comes with a tantalizing bonus: a screen-accurate, life-sized Ring of Power on a chain, so that you may be able to wield the One Ring, once and for all!

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness, bind them! Possess it today, Precious!

Agreed my friend, price is higher than it should be on this piece given its size. They’re cashing in given there’s 2 characters on the statue, still an amazing piece but 900-950 would of been more appropriate imo.

I randomly stumbled across the showcase video where this was revealed, and then coincidentally it went up for order the next day.

Really cool piece but yeah price is definitely too high. It's 1/4 and while it is 2 characters, they're smaller characters. For comparison, a bunch of the DC pieces like the Batcave Hush Batman are the same price AND 1/3 scale.

Man I am glad I don't collect LOTR.

These P1 pieces would have me in the poor house.

They have all been Home Runs IMO and I would want them all.

For these Prime1 LOTR pieces. In USA, What is the difference between ordering direct from Prime1, and ordering through BBTS?
