Looks like the angry head sculpt is the Balloonman sculpt? This figure?s outfit looks a lot less screen accurate to me than the Craftone figure. Present Toys made the wise decision to avoid the fat suit that Craftone added so that helps. Overall it looks like it will not be quite as good as the Craftone figure but I love The Shining so much that I am happy to see this and will definitely pick it up too.
Not perfect? Its terrible. Both.
It's trash and the fact this company is now bootlegging more than Redman I'd expect the quality to be trash too.
The angry sculpt is laughable reminds me of David Bowie,tailoring is wrong.Total garbage!
Reminds me a bit of the Jim Carrey (DeepFake) The Shining video.

Well I guess I am more comparing it to the Craftone release too and I find this one to be far superior from the promo pics.
I own the Craftone figure and love it. Could just be goodwill from my deep love for the film but in hand it?s one of my favorite figures. The promo picks alone, however still look significantly better than the Preset Toys figure now seeing them posted so close together.
Smiling head on the Present Toys version is not bad, but definitely has a caricature vibe.

Speaking of which, some (bootleg) company better start making 1/6 David Bowie figures (there were two beautiful headsculpts made for Molecule8).

Two very weird-looking sculpts. Definitely copied, but it looks far weaker than it should if it were copied. Jack Nicholson's head is so much more wider. First head looks like Jack Nicholson mixed with Jim Carrey, the second looks likes Jack Nicholson mixed with Gary Oldman (from Leon)... The Craftone heads weren't perfect, but they had a decent likeness. These look really odd. Colours of the clothes should also be a lot duller.
Definitely seeing Oldman too in the alternate sculpt.
This is Shocking-ly bad.
Let's be honest the Craftone likeness isn't that great and yet its miles better than this.
I would only pick this up if it was astoundingly cheap..... nevermind just seen the price - no way.

I had their Calvin Candie, and that was quite a decent likeness. Was probably a copy of the Enterbay prototype, but it looked decent in-hand, although a tad dark and expressionless. This one hardly looks like Jack Nicholson. Their other prototypes look ok, this one's just bad. The Craftone one's are not that hard to come by, and they're pretty cheap. If not wait for that, it's probably best to just kitbash one. This doesn't seem worth the price tag. It most likely won't sell out either, and will be readily available on eBay and other platforms even after release, especially considering how poor the 'Mob Boss' looked in-hand. Present Toys should try their hand at characters that just haven't done before. Craftone have done this, Enterbay and Hot Toys both did Godfather, same with Indiana Jones. They should stick to ones that haven't been attempted, it'll be better for them. Toys Era are doing the Spider-Man line, and that's attracting a lot of interest. Still a lot of gaps in the 1/6 figure market, that's what they should expoit, because in all honesty, they won't trump a previous effort of any figure done by other companies.

I feel like I'm on crazy pills seeing as I'm the only one who thinks this destroys the craftone figure.
Craftone figure is far from perfect but definitely destroys this one. Head sculpt likeness and outfit are significantly better on the Craftone figure. I cannot think of a single element of this one that even comes close to the other figure.
