Yeah, I have to agree with Marine Boy, you just know a good head sculpt when the likeness is nailed and the essence of the character is there. Sadly, I'm yet to see a definitive Max sculpt. I've even tried sculpting him myself and it's so damn hard to capture.

The sculpt (and body) that comes with this figure is crap.
The one with the custom is not my cup of tea either.
But the figure clearly looks much better there.
A better sculpt is bound to happen soon. I have a good feeling that Dark toys will be decent as a mass produced head, repaint/retouch will help probably just like their deckard.
Now just release the damn figure lol

Based on that optimized version above, I think the set would look more than halfway decent with the right head, body and adjustments. The scale of the outfit would go well with the From Russia With love custom head that was available a few years back:

I purchased it as I prefer the leather and seen some quick body replacements. YES, the head is a disaster, but at somepoint I want something rather than nothing.

If a better version comes out, I will figure out what to do then. Most likely keep both and put one in the Jazzinc car.

Oh man, that will be incredible. Sadly with lack of shelf space I don't think I'd have the room for a sixth scale Interceptor, but the quality would be amazing no doubt.

I received this figure yesterday.
He looks totally different person but pretty good for the custom.

Still not perfect but better than stock figure IMO
