Saw this on facebook, Seems like a new company but I'm not to sure if they have released other figures. Anyways I'll put up the info on him once I see it. But here are some images you can already guess who it is, Personally I'm super excited to get this I finally don't have to make a custom. Lol

WOW! Finally....

I feel John McClane might at last get made by these 3rd partiers!

It's taken them a long time to finally get around to him.

Just waiting for someone to point out that the sculpt is a recast, which usually turns out to be the case.

Surprised there hasn't been a John McClane.

Since this is figure PT-0001, I'd say its their first...

But I'm so excited to see this. Finally a complete Mad Max! I have been collecting parts for a Road Warrior for 20 years and have just about everything except a head sculpt that I like.

As I posted in the other thread, I have a good feeling that 3rd partiers might finally get around to that John McClane figure we've been waiting for -- another one I've got all the parts for and just never have put together.

I hope they do a WEZ! One of the reasons I never finished my Max is because there's nothing to go with him. If I could build a Wez I would have finished Max long ago.

BTW, this thread is in the wrong section, isn't it? Luis has put one up in the Action Figure section.

Lol why didn't I see that sooner. But yeah I'll be honest I probably will still get custom bits for this regardless as to me the boots aren't bad but there are better options.

Yes, it's completely messed up. lol

I saw the General Collectibles Statue forum, so went down to the next one thinking it was Action Figures, because I only remember there used to be the two 'General' forums.

Then it took so long adding photos I didn't realise there was another thread. :slap

For ease of having a complete Max out of the box, this is great. True, once you start looking, probably many bits and pieces could be replaced with better stuff. Like I said, I have a box with nearly a full figure's worth of replacement options so this will be great fun to rebuild and improve where possible.

I'm just excited to finally have a complete base figure of Mel's Max... despite the head.

All in all, he looks pretty damn good to me. I might just be excited though.

I was replying to Mondragon's post about Max's hair, but it disappeared.

Is this figure meant to be Mad Max 2?

Ok they have my attention. When I saw the thread I thought it would be another Tom Max, but was pleasantly surprised to see it was Mel. This is long overdue. I’m in.

It's a new company name, but it may be an alias for an old one who might be trying avoid some heat.

I think a lot of these 'companies' can be traced back to a smaller number of actual 'teams'.

Even the ever brazen Redman Toys started promoting figures under the 'Dark Toys' name.

Interesting to see this, and about damn time too. Despite the unknown company and the inaccurate details here and there, I'm definitely curious.
