Looks dirtier in the crown area n overall the head highlights are darker than Python's.. maybe its the room lighting. Those lower chin vains are redundant n horrible.

Does anyone know of anyone who commisions something like an extra head stand? As Roscoe said, its criminal to have one of these in the box hidden away

I'd buy one...

Nice to see people liking this guy. If you like what you're seeing in pictures, you'll really like it in person.

The gloss (or semi-gloss) on the skin comes through nicely in that video. Seems every time someone new photographs this statue, more good stuff is revealed. Hope we get the same with the Jungle Hunter.

Still don't understand the black airbrushing between the eyebrows, but lighting it from below with LED pucks ought to hide it. :lol

Video from Michael Troy Coringrato

I still found the unmasked head really weird (prominent mandibles, paint, sculpt, eyes...) but the masked head looks almost perfect

Noticed this guys masked sculpt too had the weird cheek paint. Not as prominent as Pythons, but it was there. Hope mine doesnt have it

Another video review posted today:

This is the reviewer's first video, so it's a bit "rough" in his words, but there are some good shots of the piece here with close-ups in the second half. Armor metallics and body gloss are looking quite nice in the lighting he's got. Unfortunately there are a few paint chips on his piece. Not sure if they're simple chips or, heaven forbid, they painted without applying primer which could lead to a cracking situation down the road...

Yeah just sat and watched that. Was quite funny in some parts. This guy actually looks great on the wall. I also doubt that primer wasn't added. Thats the sort of stuff people would boycott companies over them skimping out like that

After watching that super nice review, I ask myself again about the scale of that one. This is not 1/4 by my judging, but is it real third scale? It is non the less an awesome piece.

It's hard to gauge due to its compact pose. But it's not far off of 1/4, it's a bit smaller than Sideshows maquette.

I just can't shake what happened with Sideshow's Lord of Darkness LSB back in the day. Real rookie mistake, was surprised they made it it.

I just got this and never got stung import doody and GST. Hopefully the JH does the same for me and saves me like $600

Not the best resolution, but even here the CH looks better than the JH.

In fact, the CH has looked great in all but one photo set: the one we saw at the very beginning, in near darkness with the saturation blasted up. The JH has looked mediocre in all but one: the one with filters out the wazoo. Tells you something.
