Thanks I was about to post this. They have a few HT that are $300AU before the discount so those ones were probably around that price.Popcultcha has 20% off in-stock figures and statues with code CARDBACK, and it actually seems to work on already discounted prices this time. Couldn’t resist picking up the pair of Newt and Grindelwald for $258 shipped.
I’m surprised, not surprised by this, based on the rulings and, for example, HT packaging, there shouldn’t be an issue. Sounds like a knee jerk reaction or no more lighted figures in Oz. They have always clearly stated not for children due to small parts and the battery compartments are secure (frustratingly so lol).Just a heads up for international buyers, Popcultcha are discounting all their lighted figures due to new button battery rulings in Australia that are no longer compliant and cannot be sold in Australia.
For Australian buyers there may be some issues with figures on preorder that may no longer be able to be sold unless changes are made to the button compartments. I know I don't have too many figures left on preorder, but for those who do, their may be issues getting them.
