I've had all the seasons for a couple of weeks, and decided to start on it yesterday.

The day before I'd had a Covid booster and 'flu jab and as always the Covid jab gave me aches and icy chills. Hemlock Grove is freaky enough as it is, but with the fever as well it was very surreal.

It's familiar supernatural subject matter, but told in a more unique way. Gruesome and pretty sick too. :panic:

I'm on episode seven and there's enough mystery and weirdness to keep my attention.

Had to do a double-take on the thread title.

I finished the first season, which was pretty good.

Two episodes into the second and it already feels like the series has run its course. Apart from the usual gross sequences (some of which are just too much), the rest is feeling more mundane and less dark fairy tale.

I lost interest and jumped skipped through the final two seasons.

Season one had something, but two and three were like cobbled together nonsense which barely felt related.

I quite enjoyed the first 2 seasons, though 2 was weaker than 1, I gave up a few episodes into 3
