Yes, if they make characters you don't like just don't buy them. Its not like Biff comes at the expense of getting a Marty or whatever. The deeper a line goes the better, in my eyes.

That’s what I’m doing, but a lot of these characters people are asking for are visually boring, with no mainstream appeal. Line killers, which would affect my ability to actually get what I want.

I sincerely doubt most people want the whole cast at the expense of getting iconic versions of Doc and Marty.

Just release the versions on the posters everyone thinks of when it comes to BTTF. Doc & Marty are the most important characters in the franchise, everyone else is just a bit player, and frankly a waste of resources.

I hope they're working on a Delorean instead of Marty's Girlfriend or the rest of Biff's gang. I uh, also hope they're working on better Marty sculpts if they insist on more Marty variants, because the ones we've got aren't cutting it next to their Docs.

lol ok, a waste of resources? Where else should NECA spend their time? Biff has been haunting the McFly's for generations basically, he's not a bit player, you've got to be kidding.

Well, it looks like this line is petering out, so I guess they'll spend their time releasing more Ninja Turtles figures. But at least we got 3 Part 1 Martys, 2 Biffs (3 if Griff comes out), 2 Docs, and 1 Part 2 Marty, and no Part 3 figures and no Delorean.

I hope they do, and I hope that whatever potential Marty's they show have a better likeness to MJF.

Painted Griff Tannen shown and '85 Doc in hazmat suit teased. They did mention a possible accessory set coming.

If they get to pt 3 that would be great, but I do hope we get Casino Biff, Old Biff, Inconspicuous Marty and maybe Jennifer. Would love a Loraine in dance dress, but with George being a no go I don't see them doing that.

Maybe they should offer Biffs, Lorraines, Jennifers, Clara and Mr. Strickland packed in in two-packs with easier sellers (Martys and Docs).

Coincidentally I have all 6 of these coming in from BBTS tomorrow. Hopefully these HT announcements will trigger an uptick in collecting interest and inspire Neca produce a more robust lineup of figures. It's nice to get some of the more niche stuff like Biff and Darth Vader.

I got all seven of these today:)

For 30 bucks apiece there isn't much to complain about. I think the best figure of the bunch is 1955 Doc. That one is my favorite, followed by Biff, and Darth Vader Marty.

Now we need this Otis...🤣

I don't bring news, just wanted to bring this thread Back to the Front Page.

I received the Part II Doc yesterday and was again impressed at how much unique tooling has gone into this line so far. And the next two figures look to be Griff and 1985 Doc with, again, one assumes, their own particular tooling.

I understand Green Goblin's argument above though about getting the most iconic looks for Marty and Doc from each film out first - just in case sales start to drop off and the line dies. So I hope their next priority is Part III Marty and Doc, especially in light of the Hot Toys reveals. After just those 2 figures it'd be safe to go wild on variants and supporting characters assuming sales remain healthy.

But what of the Delorean? From what I hear of the Hot Toys version it's difficult to actually get even Marty inside it and those figures would have more flexibility and 'give' than NECA's all-sculpted plastic figures so I wonder if a Delorean from NECA would be little more than set dressing. As long as the doors open I'd still take it though.

Is NECA making a Delorean for the figures? They showed the animate version 2 years ago, and they never released it, unfortunately. I'm still waiting for it. :(

NECA has a habit of just releasing an out of scale die-cast with a black-windows so they don't need to sculpt any interiors. It'd be nice if they changed that habit and gave us actual vehicles for the 7" figures.
