I would never get 1/6 scale DKR Batman, since my Hot Toys take up all my space. The detailing on this 1/12 scale is awesome enough for me to start collecting non-movie figures though.

"Currently planned for the One:12 Collective are characters from The DC Universe, Judge Dredd, Classic Universal Monsters, and some other surprises to be announced in the future.

Mezco President, Mez Markowitz declared "We are all very excited with the One:12 Collective line. I think we are offering a fantastic product that both satisfies the customers desire for articulation as well as the ability to hide it all in a extremely realistic way. Another great aspect to the line is that we are striving to present high quality product that is in line with 1/6th scale (12" figure) collectables while taking up far less display space and at a much more reasonable price point. Our Dark Knight Returns Batman figure is really a fantastic piece and we cannot wait to show what is up next. Mezco plans on releasing several items a year from this line and it is a long term initiative for our team, really a dream come true for all of us here."

The One:12 Collective "The Dark Knight Returns" Batman figure is set to be publicly revealed at San Diego Comic Con at Mezco booth # 3445 and shipping to customers in Fall 2014. "

I have always preferred this scale. Looks like my DC Direct DKR figures are gonna be retired. These look like they were ripped right from my imagination. I bet these will be about $100 a piece. Don't care. Instantly bought.

$100? That sounds crazy.

I'm thinking about selling my mattel ones, I like them a lot but I don't see the point of keeping them with these coming out.

Re: Mezco: 6 Inch DC Figures

Mezco is more like Neca, imo. And Neca figures don't cost that much. As far as Mattel goes, well they're a joke. Mafex and Sh FiGUART, cost around $40, but I think that has something to do with them being imported, because those figures cost less in Japan. So I honestly can't see these figures from a North American company similar to Neca, costing $40-60. If they do, you can say, "I told you so." But lets hope I'm right :)

WE ALL WOULD LOVE YOU TO BE RIGHT . The only thing that could make Mezco's new One:12 Collective line sweeter is if they'd be super-affordable! I'm looking forward to their Judge Dredd 1/12 figures as well.

It'd be interesting if they had any of the DC film licenses. It wouldn't really step on Mattel's toes, since they're two different types of figures, but, if they did, I wish them luck trying to get a 1/6th quality likeness at this scale.

It's not that difficult to have accurate likeness, just look at Neca's dutch and Mezco's movie Hellboy, they're great for the scale.

It's just that crappy hasbro and mattel don't even try anymore, since they've no competition.

Mezco's about to stir **** up :lol

About the pricing, I seriously cannot see them going for $100, I think $80 is still sane albeit pushing it.

$80 is what I was expecting from HT's Rocket Raccoon :lol
