A different kind of post Sarlacc Fett!
I wanted to see how the post Sarlacc armor would look with traditional Fett gear. Faded and dirtied to match.

-HT Jango Fett-
For those that are customizing or curious, this is how the armor is attached to the vest:

Here’s the difference between the Sideshow and HT vest:

HT cod and holster. Held on with Velcro:

The padded under suit has extra padding in the boo-tay area.
Tusken Raider padding on the left, Jango padding on the right. I’ll be using the Tusken padding as it provided a great fit for my custom Tem Boba Fett:

The waist ball joint would not move at all. I had to loosen the screws a bit on the back of the abdomen to free up the joint. Now with the fixed waist joint, the posture can be more authentically replicated. Knee armor moved up, crotch armor positioned so the armored belt holder rests against the bottom of the girth belt with said belt leaving a gap between the abdomen armor and the top of the belt.

These further mods are unnecessary, but I wanted to push this figure over the edge into a bit more authenticity.
I replaced the torso with a true type, modified to hold Medicom arms. Because of this I had to replace the neck peg with a shorter one, as the neck sits higher on the new torso. The arm swap shortens the forearm a bit and allows the use of the Jango Medicom hands. I like the sculpt of the Medi hands better. And their size is comparable to the HT hands jango came with.

I still thought the posture and frame needed some tweaking, so trying mod #3 on for size.
VTS/DT chest rig with Enterbay arms and a modified HT neck peg. The Enterbay arms will fit right in the VTS shoulder sockets (this sort of fortunate fit hardly ever happens). Inner joint tightened with a few drops of super glue. Rotate until stiff.
I like the length, stature and how the Enterbay arms pose.
The way the chest rig attaches to the HT Jango waist ring, forces a certain posture, apt to Jango.
VTS rubber chest with neck cut out placed back on inner chest.
HT neck (random) with Jango neck-to-head peg.
The Jango padded suit works well with this configuration.
I’m using VTS hands for gripping. Just a preference, as I’m not fond of the HT hands.
…I have so many frickin’ boxes of parts😵‍💫

That figure looks amazing, like a guy in a suit! I only have the Medicom version, since he is a tad smaller and has some deficiencies in some regards,I barely get it out of the box. I have to think about replacing the body. But it’s hard and expensive to get a body that fits.

Get the Hot Toys one, if you can. No point in putting more money into the Medi figure.

They are selling those on eBay here in Europe in the $450 range and upwards, otherwise sold out. Too expensive

Definitely agree with MHA; seems like a waste to put more money into a Medicom figure (which i also still have though in parts). The difference is just night and day.

Granted I would not want to pay that much for the figure either so I understand. I don't go the Hong Kong reseller route myself nor do I often recommend them, but is that an option? Someone more repubtale like ToysBuyingAgent?

I don't know how much shipping would be to you but they have it available for a decent price currently. I'd imagine it'd still be far less than $450.

So, I’m always messing with these things, and my current Boba custom was bugging me a little. Because of the pose, you really couldn’t tell, but the forearms where just a bit long and I wanted to add height to him in the mid section and space out the armor a little. I think Hot Toys chest armor has always been just a little too small and thus makes it tricky. Anyway…here’s the updated body mod.

Hot Toys Boba bodies are shrimpy, and I usually port them over to a VTS/Damn Toys body, but for ESB Fett I wanted to get more specific. His height needed to increase, but just adding ankle extensions would look to strange in the legs. The additional height had to be put within the mid section.
Enterbay knock off groin and abdomen with HT waist to chest joint.
VTS legs, chest rig and cut neck (inner neck joints are HT, made to fit).
HT arm combo.
HT Tusken padding.
