all the NECA figures I own have names on boxes.
with Chucky the actual good guys box it does not say chucky on it only good guys.
this is the TOTS box for 2nd film Child's Play 2: Good Guys Doll Screen Accurate Box
Chucky is never written on any boxes in any of the movies as the actual Dolls are called good guys. So that person did not know what he talking about.

And technically it does say Chucky, on the bottom of the box. The bottom also gives prototype credit to Moody Pudding (as well as others). The only not "good guy" specific thing written around the rest of the box is NECA in bold red letters.

Well, you might get a second chance. Not only is NECA notorious for re-releasing their catalog (I mean, except the Alien Deacon that is ) but, the box is licensed to Child's Play 2, Child's Play 3, Bride of Chucky, and Seed of Chucky. Everything except the first movie (and 6,7, and the show). So, who knows... maybe we will see a few more Chuckys in the years to come, probably not at $445, but under a thousand.

I spoke to a toy vendor at a convention who had ties with ToTs and right now they are trying to get some kind of deal working with Moody Pudding to be a lead producer of Chucky products, specifically for bride of Chucky. Considering issues going on with NECA, they bit off more than they can chew budgetting for the manufacture of these replicas. He also rambled on about why the boxes themselves don't say the name Tiffany or Chucky. Honestly I don't know how these licensing deals work. That day I went hunting for their Chucky doll at the convention I did notice that NECA's Catwoman figure isn't even called Catwoman, instead it's "The Cat"

After what felt like an eternity of wanting 1:1 Chucky & Tiffany dolls, it finally started in 2008 with the Sideshow Chucky this epic thread was initially made for and after a lot more waiting today saw the arrival of Neca Tiffany. I feel like I should really add Glen to the family though.

I do not know what to do about Chucky tho
UK stores not opened orders for chucky just yet but expect stock in May.
however I am going on holiday next month so cant really afford it, I was expecting this not to be 1 batch only but as NECA wont officially comment on it I either will need to find way to buy it or loose chance if its 1 batch only

is there meant to be a slit on the back of her dress?
got mine yesterday and she is amazing! the hairnet was not covering her face properly so her hair needs to be fixed as there are strands all over her face lol

Yeah, the slit is there to add stretch room in removing her dress, the Velcro is stitched to the the backside of her dress just above the slit
