The best moment in the books
I never thought I would get a younger version of Harry. Alas, like InArts Pennywise (although I did skip that as I hate those films); this is simply too perfect to pass on.

Likely they will do an older version of Harry but that will be years away. This will fill the gap nicely until then.

The first film has charm. It’s a real family film (bar horrific and genuinely unsettling back of the head ‘you know who’). It’s my mums favourite HP due to it being, well, ‘magical’. She in fact gave up on the later ones as they became too dark. My favourite films are the later ones as they get more complex and darker in tone. DHpt2 is my favourite for the Snape ‘reveal’ also. In fact, nothing in cinema quite tears me up like that particular montage. It’s magnificent and of course it’s RICKMAN. Praying InArt do a decent later edition of Snape down the line as that is a true grail of mine.

Essentially I was never into HP at all until I met my wife. She got me into them and into the books thereafter and there is no way in hell I’m not having this on my shelf.

Fully supporting all InArts efforts into HP. Bring it on.
The best moment in the books for me was when Snape kills Dumbledore in Half Blood Prince. Snape was my favorite in the books as well as the movies (Rickman took him to the next level) and when he killed Dumbledore I had never felt such a moment of betrayal and disbelief in any sort of media quit like that moment.

It didn't hit as hard in the movie as the book. More than likely because I already knew everything. When that redemption moment came in Deathly Hollows and tou find out the truth....lots of feels.

I asked Kit if he knew why they set a 10% premium for overseas, which is before delivery. A valid question, and he doesn’t know why. What’s your beef?

maybe cheaper local freight or some new tax relief for items sold in local market minus hong kong and probably macau. but hey americans still getting hot wheels for $1 while rest of the world paid for it.

The scar is a massive bummer for me, I wish they would have been able to find a way to show at least some of it, but I guess it wasn't always visible in the film either, so it just is what it is. I personally hate rooted hair as I think it makes these look less lifelike and more Barbie like...but I guess that's why art is entirely subjective. At least I'm saving a bunch of money just getting the sculpted.
ah the 1/6 high end collectible vs barbie doll dilemma.

rooted hair looks way realistic bro. when done right.

InArt have made me cut down significantly on my collection, just focusing more on characters that I truly love instead of mindless collecting. Quality > Quantity. But boy if they go deep into HP that goes out of the window again lol
Same. My collection got to 450+ figures before I decided I'd lost my mind. It's not all I collect either :lol

For those waiting to see prices on stores other than OSK, GianToy has standard and deluxe up for $360 and $600 respectfully:

In other words, the prices on OSK are what you should expect everywhere. While each one here is $5 more, it might be ideal for people who are on the fence but still want a reservation since GianToy only keeps 20% of deposits on cancelled pre-orders.

I already ordered a Premium with Kit, but wanted to let people know of their options

seems like price is controlled all over the net. but near x2 the price of regular you have to ask yourself if the diorama and rooted hair is worth the premium or can you skip the diorama and diy the hair.

I'm not making any decisions on only two retailers. Not when there's quite an investment involved. I'll likely go with Kit, but want to hold off.

Spec fiction has his up now too. Deposit purchase for deluxe is $560 shipped, or $545 paid in full. $350 for deposit purchase for the standard shipped, or $335 paid in full. Obviously you will get a few months later than OSK or Giantoy.

Plenty of $10 off codes for OSK right now so can get for $585 or $343. Haven't seen any for Spec or anyone else yet, but there may be down the road.

$545 is closer to what I'd expected, but I won't be using Spec Fiction.

who else you are waiting for? :D
Waiting to see KGHobby's price only because they had the cheapest option for Aragorn so wondering what they do with Harry.

Good price on Spec but they are months and months behind with release compared to every other retailer. Good option for those not in a rush.

No scar on the standard version is disappointing. I know he hides it most of the time, but the movie poster for Philosopher's Stone shows it.

Deluxe looks more realistic even if it's short hair, but too expensive for me. So Standard it is!
