That neck...

Mean something is very off about this figure. The neck looks enormous like the bootleg 1/6 homecoming Spider-Man in some photos!

If one wants a larger scale representation of Spiderman it's a good figure. But I don't really see the larger scale as having brought upgrades over 1/6. Indeed they've imported and upscaled the floating Parker head look with the totally covered neck. Are the suit seams less prominent maybe?

Masked eyes are too close together, looks funny to me. On the stealth suit they were too far apart, now on this 1/4 too close together

Exactly! But the webbing seems to be the same as on the proto one, dont know what they change here, but it seems to be too close....

Spiderman sells. I can't fault HT with this. Spiderman/IronMan/Batman/Cap I bet are their biggest sellers. I wish they would do a 1/4th BVS Batman, oh man. Regardless, this is the Spiderman that goes good with your MCU figures.

As far as the headsculpt goes, I think it is pretty close to the painted prototype.

Obviously the standard softness in the final product is there, but happy with the way it turned out.

The eyes look off with the fully opened plates, but the next step down looks decent.
I like how the overall suit looks, plus there doesn't seem to be any head seam issue on the fabric.

Not even taking the Holland sculpt in mind, that masked head looks so off and awkward. They made his eyes too close to one another. :slap

They had the gap between the eyes right on the prototype but then ruined it on the final production version. Way to go Hot Toys!

Yeah, they were definitely further apart on the original solicit photos. Not sure why they would move them closer together,
like others have said... funny how the Night Monkey suit had the opposite going on.

I also think the softness of the sculpt isn't something that we should be okay with.

This isn't 1/6, it's a 1/4 scale sculpt and it's clear the sculpt isn't as sharp and detailed as it should be. Just look at the their production Mark 43 Downey sculpt from 2015.

The Far From Home Upgraded Suit sculpt blows this one out of the water.

I'm not a 1/4th guy, so I have no stake in this...but this final product is clearly a disappointment, especially when compared with the proto pics...some of y'all will say I'm complaining again for the hell of it...but this criticism is absolutely warranted.

HT botches another one! :clap

Wow, very poor for a 1/4 figure - just seems like they sized up the 1/6 figure. Way too many issues I would not have expected to see in a 1/4 scale figure. I remember seeing the 1/4 Iron Man figure and sculpt and being impressed with all the improvements over the 1/6 scale. This seems to have almost gone the other way. The neck/collar definitely should have been addressed and the pain on the head sculpt should not be that soft for a 1/4 scale sculpt.
