Thought it was interesting Hot Toys is doing military style figures again.

Along with fans of the movie, these seem like good figures for people who need generic sci-fi/near future soldiers and space marine type figures for the displays as well.

We don’t see a lot of non Star Wars, Marvel, or DC figures anymore but I guess they’re doing them since it’s a Hong Kong based science fiction action film.

In 2055, a meteorite, which brings a fast-growing alien vine named "Pandora", crashes down on a barren Earth ravaged by pollution and global warming. "Pandora" purifies the planet but kills everything in its path. To protect the citizens of their city, the heavily armored military of Hong Kong, armed with the plant's genetic map, tries but fails to destroy "Pandora" and uncovers a conspiracy.

Wow, the trailer looks awesome! I wonder if it will be dubbed in English?

These figures look incredible and by the looks of the trailer, there’s definitely more room for them to expand the line. 👍🏻

Hong Kong movie with Hong Kong actors... lets call the characters Tyler and Johnson, two extremely American names :lol.

It's gonna be hilarious if this movie sucks.

I'm with the majority of you - Have no clue about the film but the figures look super-cool. The detailing is amazing. Head sculpts were certainly done by Hot Toy's "A" team.

Only thing I would have liked is a bit of variation on the bases. Maybe even make them opposite of one another or have the ability to connect to one another and create one landscape.
I don’t like that it’s the exact same base reused. If I was to display them next to each other, I would probably even add artificial plants or something to one just to make them look different.
Museum bases look fine along side one another but environmental bases should be changed up a bit.

Boy these are tempting. I’m a huge SciFi fan so I would really like to see the film before I commit to picking up figures from the license.

Anyone know when it’s due to release and on what platform? 🧐

It's a shame they didn't include full head sculpts. I watched a lot of the two actors movies growing up and was hoping to have the full head sculpts to go with the Wenwu Tony Leung.

Pretty expensive but they look like cool video game soldiers. As has been said by others, no money or space left for figures that are derived from source material I don't care about.

Sideshow really needs to stop calling these 'limited edition'. Jerry Seinfeld once joked about the Ford LTD being limited...to a billion. That is what I'm reminded of when limited edition is used for mass produced items.

It’s getting a theatrical release in Hong Kong on August 25th so anything beyond that would probably be a while after that.

I found him! I found Waldo!

I guess we can finally retire these milk cartons.
