The smartest choice you made was going for Jar Jar. Super believable at this point in time. If it was Bespin Han....I probably still would've gotten excited for a split second upon seeing the "new thread" notification

People would poke fun a bit at first, but I bet even those who were shouting their hate at Jar Jar even a decade ago would still buy him. I was one of those people. Some of these Disney era characters (eg Peli Motto, Rose Tico, L3-37, Hux, Reva etc.) have made Jar Jar Binks far more palatable and tolerable these days. I reckon we’ll get him next year for The Phantom Menace 25th anniversary anyway.

Hating Jar Jar is so 2006. Honestly he's pretty tolerable besides TPM, and had a few pretty decent TCW episodes too.

He'd bring a unique presence to one's collection and HT needs to do more aliens. Finally give Qui-Gon someone to be with besides TPM Maul too.

I’m not the biggest Episode I fan but Jar Jar with Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, Padme, nudie C-3PO, and R2 would make for a cool display that’d really stand out.
